Telly actors pick their favourites

The awards season is on in both the TV and Film industry so we asked a few television stars to pick their favourites.

Ashwini Kalsekar (Jigyasaa in Kasamsh Se)


"If I have to choose only between the men then definitely Irrfan Khan. He is no longer a TV actor but I still remember his performances in Banegi Apni Baat. Ram Kapoor, who plays my brother, performs really well. Also Shah Rukh if you will ask me about old days. In females, Shefali Shah is my hot favourite. Achint Kaur is sensitive and sensible and lastly I like Raejshwari Sachdev. Among the older ones, I also like Suhasini Mule."

Chetan Hansraj (Sasha of Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki)

"I like Aaksh Deep Saigal, Sakshi Tawar and Shabbir Ahluwalia. They have been in this industry for a long time and have performed really well. People love them a lot and they have proved themselves. So I think they are the best."

Jay Bhanushali (Neev of Kayamath)

"Shabbir Ahluwalia, Smriti Irani, Ram Kapoor and Hussain too. I like their acting a lot. They can emote perfectly. Everyday I watch Shabbir on the sets and he always tries doing new things. Same is the case with Smriti and Ram."

Twinkle Bajpai (Lakshmi of Betiyaan)

"Smriti Irani because she is very expressive and can portray all types of emotions easily. Yatin Karyekar, who is my father in the serial, has so much of acting experience and he shares it with newcomers like us so it's a great pleasure to work with him. I have seen him in Shanti and I liked him in Iqbal too. Sharad Kelkar is also very good as Nahar."

Shewta Keswani (Gurinder Chaddha of Baa Bahu Aur Baby)

"Saakshi Tanwar, Ronit Roy and Smriti Irani. They have been part of the most popular K serials. Because of her hard work dedication, Smriti is now also doing well as a producer." < ="text/">
