I think he would have definitely believed that Suki was the mother had she told him on Ritwik's birthday. In fact at that point of time even if she had told him what she told him today, that while she is not the mother, she is covering up for someone close to them, he would have believed because he had implicit faith in Prachi. In fact he agreed to SS marriage only because it would make Prachi happy. He trusted her judgement. Later when Suki came back she should have encouraged her to tell the truth to her brother before he gets to know through other sources. Afterall she is her bhabhi and has a moral responsibility to her when she knows Suki is not doing something right.

On the other hand she is brainwashing her not to tell her own brother. Suki did not allow herself to be brainwashed because she did tell her brother. Only he was sleeping. Later she asked Prachi to tell him everything. It is Prachi's fault that she did not. Even now Suki is under the impression Prachi had told the entire truth and Milsi still does not believe it.

And the fact is Milsi knows about Suki-Alaap affair. So it is not difficult for him to believe that Suki is the mother. Only Prachi never gave Milsi the chance to decide for himself.

Sukriti might have been young and naive when she was tricked by alaap but she is yet again allowing herself to be manipulated by another person now.. her bhabhi..!

all though Prachi might have the best of intention Suk should stop trusting people who have walked into her life at this late stage more than her own brother.. she might have tried to tell mils her secret.. and yes he was sleeping.. but i do believe that she was a little late in her confession. and even worse she didn't try again.. She could have simply woken him up and told him the truth.. tried telling the man twice.. enough practice for a third time..!

I think Prachi' s half-baked confession came out too late, if she had taken Mills to one corner on 7th Nov, and told him that I am not Ritwik's mother, I am doing to to save some else, am sure Mills would have accepted her half-truth, and maybe he would have even pressed on trying to find out the rest of the truth, because he had bit more faith in Prachi back then than he had on 7th 8th Jan. Mills' is an emotional wreck as it is, so Prachi's trying to save her marriage a day before the divorce after a whole 2 month's of keeping a silent oath did make the fellow more sure that she is a one big nautanki😕
