Today I was discussing Michi with my friend in a very indirect way (since I dont want her to know the extent of my addiction to them). I kept bugging her with questions about what are rituals in North Indian weddings, how many days it will take. Does Haldi ceremony precede mehendi ceremony; does the sangeet preceding mehendi or is it after and such questions. She was getting quite fed up with these questions. At the end she said these days people cut down on a lot of rituals or combine them so that they can save money and time! I am so hoping that they dont cut out or combine any ceremony of Michi and stretch this whole thing as much as possible so that we can get more chori chupke romance between these two.

@ Opti-I being a Punjabi know a lot about North indian weddings...The haldi ceremony comes much after the mehendi..Actually the haldi is on the morning of the wedding...The sequence is first mehendi, followed by a sangeet, then comes the haldi in the morning followed by the wedding and then it ends with the reception..God knows what they plan to do in Michi's case! 😕

Tell me about it Madhu. Since my hindi is not fluent I bug her asking for the meaning of certain words I dont follow. I tried asking her the meaning of the promo. Only I did not memorise the sequence of the words and ended up jumbling them. she looked at me incredulously and asked me 'Just what in the world do you mean?' I had to quickly retract.

Oh Man Opti I am laughing like crazy here.🤣The poor lady must have been like 'Why is asking me about the meaning of Hindi words all the time.'ARe yaar,next time when you wanna ask her anything na,just make it look like you are trying to learn Hindi and hence asking for meaning of certain difficult words that you can't seem to understand😉

Yup it is in that order..But they wont be getting married so soon dear..Remeber Prachi said last night that the wedding will take another 3 to 4 days? So they've ruined the order already! As long as they show Michi-they can show anything, in any order!!

hey tweety, being a gujju I know this is the exactly the way it happens !!! Haldi ceremony is usually performed on the morning of the wedding !!!! At least my haldi was performed on the day of my wedding !!!!

Tweety yaar,in logon ne tho rituals ka order poora ulta kar diya.😕I so hope that they show a Mehendi.Are yaar I have been dreaming about this particular Mehendi scene for so long.Like Prachi gets her Mehendi done with an 'M' on her hand.And then while she removes that thing in her room,Milsi sneaking in secretively and kisses her hand which has his name.😍Looks like they are going to throw water on my dreams😡

@ Neharahul- Yup its always like that in North india weddings...The haldi is done so that the bride glows and looks more radiant on her wedding...Dont know what was the purpose of having Prachi's haldi so soon? 😕

@ Madhu- Dont get upset so soon...they should hopefully be showing all the rituals for their wedding! Be positive yaar! 😉
