Alaap - the dumbest of them all

All the characters in KYM seem to be acting dumb in one way or other especially when it comes to this baby raaz. But the dumbest seems to be Alaap. How many clues does this guy need to figure out the truth?

-He knows for a fact that Suki has a raaz which is tied to the orphanage.

-He himself goes there and finds that Suki and Prachi come there to meet a baby boy named Ritwik.

-He later finds out the Ritwik has been adopted.

-When he returns from Turkey he finds a baby named Ritwik who Prachi claims to be hers. The guy does not believe her because he trusts his friend Neev! But he still does not figure out that this baby is Suki's secret.

-What's more he discusses the baby with Neev who tells him that he found out that Ritwik is from the orphanage and that Prachi and Suki adopted him.

-During the kidnapping fiasco he finds Suki behaving very hyper especially when she came to know that he had called the police. She even collared him up for it.

- He witnesses Suki running into the SM even as Prachi is signing the divorce papers and says that she will not let her suffer because of her.

- He witnesses Prachi springing in just in time when Suki was about to make her confession at the party and sidetrack everyone.

-He then finds the letter Suki wrote to Saket confessing that she has a secret from him and that it is linked to the orphanage.

Granted that he did not get to read the letter in full. But seriously how many more clues does this dumbo need? Can he not figure out the raaz by now especially since he is the one who had slept with Suki? A simple arithmatic would tell him whose baby is Ritwik.

For a guy who was so smart that he got Suki cornered when she tried to trap him in the hotel, by getting his friend take his place in the bed and replacing the CD which captured the two of them together with a blank CD, he sure is acting very very dumb these days. Is being married to Suresha dulled his brain?

I agree with you comletely optimistic! alaap sure is dumb..after all it runs in the genes!! lol...
but on a serious note, the creatives are just making all the characters look dumb beyond comprehension...alaap can just put two and two together and figure out the truth..but NO !! the creatives will never want that...they want AYESHA to know the truth...!
that reminds me, what is Neev upto? didnt he also go to the church once and learn that prachi and sukriti would come to meet rithwik and he's adopted?? wasnt he supposed to speak to sukriti about this after she returned from her honeymoon?
doesnt he care about the accusations hurled at him by milind and also prachi!! he's also lost it i guess...too busy dancing away in jhalak!lol...
but even he should do something...this is not right...this is becoming too much
and what kind of a mother is Premlata? should'nt she do something to help her daughter apart from taunting ayesha ? will that help in any way?? nor will any puja help now..she knows her daughter hasnt done anything, so why isnt she out to help her ?

Yes tweety, they all seem to be suffering from collective inertia when in comes to unearthing the raaz. Prachi who is otherwise quite lethargic when it comes to asserting her rights over Milsi is super energetic when it comes to protecting her sis-in-law's raaz.

And that stupid Suki after hearing everything over the phone about Milsi's misunderstanding Prachi decides to speak to her bhabi first after recovering at the hospital. Should she not ask to speak to Milsi first because it is to him she needs to clear the misunderstanding? What was the need for asking Prachi why she took the blame? She already knows the answer to that one. And as though that was not enough she later calls her bhabi and informs her she intends to break the raaz at the party. The affected people are her husband and Milsi. They need to know, not the entire world. By telling the truth to everyone what was she planning to do? Humiliate Milsi further?

That Baba is another specimen. Earlier he was willing to believe that his daughter was a gold digger who would'nt bother about her reputation just to lay her hands on a rich guy. Now he would'nt believe that Suki could be the mother of Ritwik.

And Milsi. He sees his sister run into the SM claiming she is responsible for everything. Yet he does not get curious. Well I guess that guy's brain has gone into hybernation ever since Prachi uttered the lie of the century.

They all make Prachi look smart - a dimwit like her whose plans are all short-term, just to tackle the immediate 'problem' as she sees it! So you can imagine the collective IQ of the entire ensemble of KYM.

And at the end of the day we are still watching this rotten retarded no-brainer in the hope of seeing Michi together again!!!

I will seriously throttle these guys if at the end of the torture, they show a Michi break up and cross marriages between the lead pairs! 😡 😡 😡

Agree very much agree..Had high hopes on him when he returned from Turkey and had started thinking .Me was in love with Alaap that week 😆 ..He has a lot of clues and still of no use and definitely a dumbo for sure at this point of time .All he does is thinks and makes that face and then go around trying to flirt with Sukriti 😡

Had such high hopes that he would be the one to uncover the secret...but as we all know...what a let down...😡

And even Neev...who even went to the Orhanage...talked to the nuns , the priest...and who decided to ask Suk..the truth when she comes back from her honeymoon...conveniently forgets about it too....😡
