Vickey Lalwani Ekta Kapoor Ekta Kapoor's trusted lieutenant, director Anil Kumar, has been shown the door. Anil has directed many serials at Balaji - Kkusum, Kasamh Se, Kavyanjali, Kahiin To Hoga, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. He even directed Ekta's film Kuch Toh Hai. At the time of his ouster, he was directing Kayamath. Many actors have been all praise for Anil in the past. Aamna Shariff and Rohit Bakshi, in particular. Rohit who played Piyush in KTH gave a lot of credit to Anil for the success of Kahiin To Hoga (KTH). He had said, "The treatment of KTH is vastly different. Full marks to our director Anil Kumar. He is young and you can make out when he directs, that he knows what young love is all about. If an elderly director had been in his shoes, I don't think the results would be better." Anil says that he got the shock of his life when Doris (Creative Head, Kayamath) called him to the sets 10 days ago and told him that he should not report for shooting from the next day. "I was flabbergasted. I think that I am not required in Balaji anymore," Anil adds. Anil refuses to tell us what led to his dismissal from Balaji Telefilms. "I don't want to talk about it. I am looking forward to doing films and serials for other production houses now," Anil quips. We then called up Doris. She said, "That is the company's decision. I was told to tell him and I did just what I was told." On making further enquires, we learnt that Anil had become a problem for the production unit. Balaji's head honcho Ekta Kapoor had no issues with him, but the production unit was finding it difficult to get along with him. Anil Kumar A Balaji official confirmed, "The production unit had too many issues with Anil. That is why he was asked to leave. He spoke very rudely with production unit, especially with Umeshji who heads production in Mumbai. Umeshji has been with the company for 14 years. Nobody treats him with disrespect. There has to be some protocol at work. Since the past few weeks, Anil used to lose his temper very often. Who knows, he might return if he decides to keep his mood and temper in check." When contacted, Ekta simply said, "I personally like Anil's work. He is a nice technician. I think he is just a bit unwell and has taken a break."

🥺 HOW can they do this😭😭😭 Ekta, just get him back at any cost😡 They had a problem a few months before and all was sorted out and he came back for Milind's re-entry... now again

My confidence in Milind was mainly because Anil was behind him... Now with him gone(Ekta better hold him back😡) Wont be long before I say RIP, Milind Mishra🥺 Goodness, anyone coming along will butcher Milind left right center😭

Milind was such a hit because Shabbo-Anil were working together... they had 4 years of working together behind them. Anil would get exactly what he needed from Shabbo and Shabbo would know what Anil wanted from a scene... now that equation will be broken😭 This is not happening... Now the prospect of Kayamat without Anil is too scary... imagine with him if things are so bad... without him Kayamat hi ajayegi.😭 And the 1st one to be hit will be Milind... A new director wont be able to keep the consistency of Milind's behaviour... Oh God this is a night mare... I cant even think straight for the moment... Balaji doesnt have anyone better than him He was only one after Anurag Basu who was upto some standard in the BT camp... Now tho fully gone😡 I just hope it is indeed a break and he is back soon. Ekta will be a fool to lose Anil, who is lucky charm aswell...SO Anilji please cool down and get back to Kayamat😕

I knew u would be devastated . About him coming back.According to the article he seems totally dumbfounded and BT seems to have no ethics what soever.Ever heard of notice period or something?

Kasamh Se was all well and good till Anil was there,am I right ?😕Anyone will lose their temper if they have to direct and go along with the retarted track. Cant believe how beautiful KYM Karvachauth episode was even in midst of the nonsense 😊

Hope he comes back soon...

Thanks for sharing the article dear.I just hope that they reconcile very soon.I can't remember exactly when,but I remember them having had problems during an award show when he got angry that Ekta didn't mention his name or something.But later they patched up.I just hope they patch up this time as well.

Anil left Kasam se... and JW was ruined the very next week😕 the dubai ONS happened as the very next track.

I think the pressure was showing last few weeks... the unit must have been really pressed for time because Shabbo was away and they needed bank episodes and the other actors were also busy... The last few weeks must have been very tough for the unit.... so the temper flying is understandable esp if he is the director... he is the captain of the ship😕

Last time around Anil had a tiff with the production house because when the Best Director entry was sent... BT send the other directors name for Kasam se and left him out... when he was the one who directed it during the period it was being judged for.... Things began to get worse and He was supposed to leave back then and start his own venture... some how Ekta managed to hold him back....and he came back for Milind's re-entry. I hope she does it this time too. Else it is bad news for Milind Mishra Very Bad News He is the only guy who is capable of making heroes like Sujal, Milind and Jai walk that tight rope between the Positive and the Negative and pull it off with the audience preference being with the character... My only problem is Milind is too complex a character and beautifully shaded... you need to strike the right balance... you need to pick the right reaction for the right situation... else it is catastrophe...now who will understand Milind so well and fine tune that with Shabbo(who claims to be a director's actor)?😕

Ok, may be I am over reacting... may be he is just on a break... and I so wish Shabbo had takes the break with him and both of them come back and rock Kayamat together, like always. I dont trust Milind with anyone else😭🥺

OMG! Kymath is bound to suffer with Anil's departure

I was aware that he had directed KTH, and heard nothing but praise for him...and remembering reading an article which said that he is BT's lucky mascot.

I dont know when the scenes for the last two episodes were shot. Looks like they were shot after Anil left ,for Shabbo is definitely not in his elements (he could be tired after the Turkey shoot as well). Anyway Anil getting fired is real bad news for KYM. Ekta would be really foolish to let him go. She let go of him in KS and see where that serial has gone. She let go of IQ and see where KAA has gone. I dont want KYM to be another one. She should have more control on her production unit than to show the door to her best director because they asked to.

OMG! i am really shocked at this article i hope he comes back, why did she fire a good director? i wonder who directed the thursday's episode because Anil is saying that this happened 10 days ago!
