haha...I actually brought them together before they came together on screen, which was really fun. Now, the on screen track has shifted a lot, and so I decided to go in a different direction from what they are showing right now.

My FF has taken a dramatic turn, but hopefully, you will still enjoy it. :)

I am posting the next part now.

Recap: Prachi leaves the mansion. Ayesha is kicked out. Sukriti gets kicked out. Milind Mishra is a changed man; changed for the worse.

Part 30:

There was a knock on the door. Milind ignored it. He continued reading over the file for the development deal in Delhi.

Slowly, someone opened the door and came into Milind's office.

Not bothering to look up, Milind spoke, "I didn't say enter."

"You never say enter," smiled Neev.

Milind looked up from the file, and nodded, acknowledging Neev's presence.

Neev sat across from Milind's lavishly designed desk, and grinned at Milind.

Milind did not grin back.

"Wha t is it Neev?" he asked, as he engrossed himself back into reading the file.

"We have a business party tonight," chatted Neev, casually.

"I'm busy," muttered Milind.

"Common yaar! You're always busy! This isn't just ANY business party. This is also meeting with the modeling agency for our ad campaign. Just imagine, Milind…think of the ladies," laughed Neev, hoping to get Milind to divulge in some humor.

"I could care less."

"Milind! You need to stop acting like this," said Neev, suddenly changing his carefree attitude into a serious one.

Milind gazed up from his file once again. "Like what?" he asked icily.

"Like you hate the world."

"Neev, don't you get it?" retorted Milind, "I do hate the world."

"Milind…look..," Neev started.

"No Neev, you look," interrupted Milind, "I don't need any advice when it comes to my life. When it comes to business, you are more than welcome to chime in. We are business partners after all. But that is the limit. I can handle my own life."

"Sorry, buddy. I need to tell you this. You can't handle your own life," sighed Neev, as he got up from his chair, "Now come on, we need to get to this business event."

Milind put the file in his right-hand drawer, leaned back in his chair, and moved his hand through his hair. He closed his eyes for a second, took a deep breath, opened his eyes, and then stood up. "Fine, let's go. But I am not staying any longer than an hour. Those desperate man-desiring models annoy the hell out of me."

Neev chuckled, "Only you Milind Mishra, can get annoyed by hot and sexy women fawning over you."

The party had been as boring as Milind thought it would be. Neev, on the other hand, seemed to be quite enjoying the company of all of the models present at the business party for E&G MODELS. Milind looked down at his watch, "Dammit, it's only been fifteen minutes and I am already bored," he thought.

He walked over to the bar, and ordered a drink. As he sat down, to take a sip, he noticed a woman in a sexy black dress coming towards him. He closed his eyes and remembered a night not too long ago, when another woman had worn a similar dress in Australia. Quickly opening his eyes, and enraged with even the thought of thinking of that treacherous woman with whom he spent time in Sydney, Milind quickly gulped down his drink.

As soon as he finished the drink, he felt a hand caress his leg. It was the girl in the black dress. "Hi, handsome. I'm Anjali. Care to buy me a drink?"

"No, not really," replied Milind, with a sinister smirk on his face.

Anjali's face instantly contorted into a look of disapproval, but then suddenly changed into one of playfulness. She gave a flirty chuckle, and put her arms around Milind's shoulders, and put her lips near his ear. "Are you going to play hard to get Milind Mishra?" she whispered, "No fair. That's what I was going to do."

Milind broke away from Anjali's grasp and looked her up and down. She wasn't bad looking. She was tall, with a tanned complexion, and streaked brown hair. She was good looking. Still, Milind Mishra found nothing attractive about her. "Tell me Anjali, what makes you special?" he asked.

Anjali was a bit surprised by the question. She leaned in and gazed into his eyes. "I am your fantasy, Milind Mishra."

Milind couldn't help but laugh. "Sorry lady, but you are nowhere near being my fantasy."

Anjali stood there stunned. She couldn't believe that this man had insulted her. No man had ever spoken to her like this before. Still, something intrigued her about him. He was sexy as hell. He was good looking, tall, wealthy, and desired by women everywhere he went. Anjali knew one thing for certain: she wanted Milind Mishra.

Anjali smiled at Milind, "Well then Mr. Mishra, I think it's time you get a new fantasy. A fantasy involving me."

Milind was impressed with her bold assertion, still, he was not impressed enough to spend another minute with her. "I will think about it," he answered, as he walked away from her, and towards Neev.

Milind and Neev were sitting in the back seat of the car, and Milind's driver drove them home. Milind looked over at Neev, who surprisingly was not slightly drunk; he was just completely drunk. Neev noticed Milind looking at him.

"Eh Milind?" asked Neev, "Model of the Month Anjali Nagpuri was all over you at the party."

Milind shrugged and stared out the window.

"Milind, yaar, I need a woman in my life," whined Neev.

"No, you don't. You are perfectly fine without one."

"No, I'm not. I want a woman who loves me. I want someone who will take care of me when I am sick. Bring tea up to our room. Worry about me and call me constantly. I want a woman who will love me forever," whined Neev.

Milind closed his eyes. Scenes from the past raced through his mind, and tugged at his heart. He remembered her bringing tea for him in the mornings. He remembered her coming to his office to find him. He remembered her promising to love him forever while standing on a Sydney beach. He opened his eyes. "Neev," he stated, staring directly at his drunken friend, with anger resonating in his eyes, "No woman ever loves a man forever. Get out of your dream land and back into reality."

"Eh Milind," grinned Neev.

"What?" asked Milind irritably.

"I think I had too many shots of tequila," he laughed, "That wasn't very professional was it?"

Milind looked at Neev, and responded, "Yes you did, and no it wasn't. But don't worry, that whole party wasn't very professional."

Neev laughed, "Anjali Nagpuri sure seemed professional with you."

Milind sighed as he remembered the girl practically throwing herself on him. "Anjali Nagpuri is a topic I definitely don't want to discuss. Talking about her is going to give me a headache."

Neev laughed.

Milind realized that Neev was too drunk to be taken to the Shergill Mansion, so instead he took him to the Shah-Mishra residence, and let him sleep there for the night. Milind, on the other hand, was not in the mood to sleep. He walked into the home office, and began working on a development deal in Pune.

It had been a whole week since the party and Neev was still feeling guilty for getting so drunk. He tried to make it up to Milind by being extra helpful around the office, where both of them were working intensely on a new hotel development in Delhi.

Neev walked into Milind's office nonchalantly as he noticed Milind staring at his computer screen with a frustrated expression on his face.

"What's wrong Milind?"

"Thanks for knocking, Neev," answered Milind sarcastically.

"No problem, buddy," answered Neev equally sarcastically, as he took a seat in the chair across from Milind.

"Neev," said Milind as he pointed to the computer screen, "I just got this email. Mr. Sachdev wants us to arrive in Delhi in two days to urgently take care of some last minute architectural glitches with our hotel, before development begins."

"Both of us?" asked Neev.

"Yes," answered Milind.

"Well, sure. That's actually wonderful news. My family friend Amit is actually getting married in Delhi in three days. After the meeting, we could stay an extra day, and attend the wedding."

"Neev, I hate weddings. You can go alone," responded Milind.

"Fine, man, whatever. Don't worry, I will end up dragging you to the wedding regardless," chuckled Neev.

"Whatever. The most important thing to me right now is to get this development in action. So I'll get my secretary to book two tickets right away," stated Milind, "We will leave tonight, so we can spend some time in Delhi and make sure no problems arise with the project."

"Sounds good," smiled Neev, "See you at the airport." Neev got up and started walking out of Milind's cabin.

"Neev, where the hell do you think you're going? We have a lot of work to do before then!" yelled Milind from his desk.

"I am going to buy me some outfits for the wedding. It's a wedding after all, and I need to look good. Don't worry Milind, I'll buy you some outfits too. I have wonderful taste and I already know your suit size! See you later!"

Before Milind could respond, Neev was already gone.

Here is the next installment guys. I hope you liked it. There was no Prachi in this part. She will come later on. But hopefully, you guys liked this part regardless.

i hated Anjal's character as I was writing....i tried to make her as detestable as possible....lol....

As for Prachi, let me just say this: Delhi will give Milind a whole lot MORE than just progress on his development deal

Glad u updated....

Really like the way you portray Milind and Neev's friendship...I would have love to see that in the show...

And as for Anjali...I hope she doesn;t come between MICHI ...don;t like her intentions...
