~Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna~
When I first started watching Kayamath I was not that interested in the show as the characters where cute but they din't strike a chord with me. Once Prachi married Milind the show made a lot more sense.
The story starts after Milind marries prachi.
Character Sketch:-
Milind – A self made millionaire who has no one to call his own
Prachi – Daughter of one of the richest Businessman in the city; She is the apple of her father's eye. Right now, she runs her dad's company after her father's death.
Ayesha – Milind's assistant in his office.
Neev – Prachi's Childhood friend and one of the few people she trusts without any questions asked.
~Part - 1~
The Sky was cloudless tonight. She could not see a single cloud in the horizon. A gentle breeze caressed the curtains and moved passed the lonely figure standing against the window. The curtains swayed to the slow breeze whiffing through the partially opened windows.
Moonlight filtered through the open skylight and bathed the room with the most beautiful shadows one would want to see at night. There was absolute silence in the room. With the exception of the nights creatures making their presence felt with their buzzing and Chirping. She could empathize with those creatures. They were looking for something in the darkness of the night. Just like her they were searching for something. Nobody knew what those nocturnal creatures where searching for till this day. It was an age old question for which there was no answer. As she listened to the noise from the garden her hands rested on the window sill as she started at the moon as though it held the answers to all the questions that were churning in her heart. Had she done the right thing today, she did not know. But, she also knew that she would try to do her best to make this work.
She was dressed in a simple and beautiful maroon saree. The saree was a gift from her best friend's mother. She had really wanted her to wear this saree tonight. Beautiful silver sequins adorned the border of the saree. Moonlight fell on those sequins and scattered across the room forming beautiful shapes on the wall. No jewellary adorned her neck except for the mangalsutra that blinked beautifully in the night. .She wore a simple pair of bangles that had been her mother's. Her ears were adorned with a delicate tear drop diamond earring that she had worn from a very young age. She had delicate beautiful fingers. As she gripped the railings tightly on the window, her knuckles were turning white from the emotions that were cursing through her.
Her hair was left loose for the night. As she stood against the window the night breeze gently played with her hair making it sway beautifully to the rhythm of the wind. Beautiful tendrils fell on the side of her face gently caressing her cheeks. Without conscious thought she moved those playful tendrils behind her ears and starred at the moon.
Had she taken the right decision today? Can she make this work? What was expected out of her?? A million questions bombarded her mind as she starred into the endless night sky.
The room was decorated beautifully. There were flowers everywhere. Jasmines adorned the floor near the side of the bed meanwhile roses were used to decorate the bed itself.
Differently colored rose petals had been used to decorate the bed. The decoration showed that someone had lovingly spent hours to get it perfect.
The room was dark except for the moonlight filtering through the sky; the windows which were giving it a path to come into the room was hindered by the swaying curtains the room eerily quite. If one closely noticed there was a small night lamp that was turned on near the bed as an after thought.
She did not notice the beauty of the surroundings. She was going through a tsunami of feelings that hurt her deep. As she stared at the moon silent tears flowed down her cheeks as she questioned her destiny. Is this what her life was going to be for eternity? Was there any reprieve or hopefully an ending to this emotional roller coaster that she was going through? As she asked these questions there was no one to give her the answers she was seeking. She needed solace but there was no one to provide even that simple necessity today.
She heard the door knob being turned slowly. She din't turn around to see who was walking in. she knew who it would be. She din't want to face him right now. She deliberately stood with her back towards him.
He opened the door and walked inside. Before coming in any further he turned around and locked the door. She heard the click of the lock as he closed the door and walked further into the room.
She wiped her eyes slowly so that he would not notice. Emotions were clouding her eyes. She turned her face slightly and looked at him from the corner of her eyes.
He looked at the decoration around him and he smirked. Who wanted this?? He absolutely was not planning on spending his night with her of all people. He had married her for revenge and it was going to stay that way till eternity.
He did not care if his life was being ruined in the process. He wanted her to pay and he was damn well going to make sure that she paid for what she had done.
His long hair gave him a roughish look and his toned body was like that of leashed lion restless and full of energy. He hadn't shaved as he did not deem it necessary for such a night.
He stood in the middle of the room his fists clenched. He glanced at the decoration in the room and a slow evil smile came into his eyes. His relaxed demeanor could have fooled anybody if they dare to look at him right now. But if one paid close attention to his eyes there was anger and revenge etched in them.
She was standing by the window her face slightly turned towards him as his eyes bored into her, she looked up at him and their eyes collided. His eyes blazed with anger as he walked towards her.
He was standing very close her. His mouth was close to her ears. He held her tightly so that she would not move from that place. His grip was causing her pain but she did not let any of that show on her face as she looked at him from the corner of her eye.
"Hello! My dear! Wife! Welcome to Hell! Darling- Prachi Shah!" he said with dripping sweet sarcasm
When she looked at him startled,
"Oh! Sorry you are married now isn't it….Mrs. Prachi Mishra…!" He said with such overwhelming anger as he bent much more closer and whispered in her ears that it sent goose bumps and shock waves coursing throughout her body.
"Milind…." She said pleadingly.
