Panchi's water troubles
Panchi Bohra (Prachi from Kayamath) and co-star Shabbir Ahluwalia shot for a rain sequence in the serial for two days continuously and had quite a tough time of it.
"We shot the entire sequence in two days at Filmcity, Mumbai. Shabbir really had to go into the water. First day we shot for eight hours as we wanted to show heavy rain and water logging," says Panchi.
The actress found it difficult to be continuously wet but had to do it as the script required it. "Since it is rainy season now we have to do such kind of scenes. It is tougher in the night since the climate is very cold."
So how did she manage? "I made sure that the AC in my vanity van was switched off whenever I came back to the van. My crew took good care of me. I was continuously having warm tea and coffee to keep my body temperature in control. I also wore least make-up and applied only waterproof mascara and little base. So for the first time I was on screen without make-up. However in the end it turned out to be a good scene."
