contd after 9th aug episode....

Millind came near and near her.....He could even see the tear suspended on her cheek . He was waiting and waiting for her to break . All she had to do was crumble and he wud leave her.All he wanted to see was fear and hatred for him. But she stared at him back without breaking her gaze.He pushed her back to the wall and twisted her hand almost breaking her wrist. He stared into her dark eyes and a whisper came out......"Do you give up ?" But there was no sound from her lips. His anger boiled over and he screamed,"Damn it!!!!are u so foolish tht u can't figure out wat i am goin to do to u???? Her eyes steeled and her tears stopped midway as she replied with clenched teeth ," Are u so foolish tht u cant figure out tht it no more matters?" She robbed him of his speech and he backed away from her as if she had struck him. He turned his face away as she turned to go.

Watching her go ,he felt sick with himself. He knew he didnt mean to do anythin to her.All he wanted was to see tht pain and humiliation in her eyes which he had seen in his sisters eyes. But the very fact tht he had behaved like an animal repulsed him. His pain had cost him his loved ones and his life. Today would it take away his humanity?

Prachi walked to the backyard in silence .Her face was glazed with tears and her eyes were empty and hollow. It started to rain and as prachi felt the drops on her face , her whole body began to tremble and she broke down all her barriers as pain overtook her. She let go of all the pain as her tears shook her body" Why?" she screamed at the thundering skies. "why me???" she questioned. all her life she had lived for oyhers She had made a compromise in the name of marriage. All her life she had sacrificed so much for her loved ones. Today would she have to even sacrifice her dignity......

"NOOOOOO!!!!!!!"screamed prachi in the eerie silence of the storm . She would fight back......she had suffered enough. She clenched her fist and got up as if ready to face the world.There stood the girl whose fragile beauty could not hide her inner strength.

Milind felt the rays fallin on his eyes and he stirred. He opened his eyes and saw tht the sun had risen.But what difference did it make he thought wryly. His life was in dark shambles.......far away from light.He had not even realized when he had fallen asleep. He had drunk away the whole night to wash away his pain."lekin kambakht dard mera saath hi nahin chodna chata" he said out aloud and climbed out of his bed.As he approached the bathroom door, he saw tht it was locked.which idiot was in the bathroomat this tym he tht and suddenly the door opened .Prachi stood there , lookin ethreal in a baby pink salwar suit.. For a moment milind jus stood there dumbstruck.But she walked past him without even noticing him.He felt irritated and turned back but could not take out tht image from his mind. she looked different he thought......May be it was the way her hair had been tied in a high pony ....or maybe the confident look he saw in her determined face....or maybe...."Shut up" he scolded himself What does tht matter to you. she is no one to you she is a stranger. just a stranger......

Prachi walked towards the mirror and studied herself. She not jus looked a bit different , but felt different too she thought as she smiled to herself...
Just as she turned to go out , she heard a thud and turned around to see that milind had tripped over the beer can that he had thrown across the room yesterday. She was about to rush forward to help him but stopped herself in time. No let him pay for his mistake.He had thrown the can and now he had tripped.Very good!!!!
Seeing him fallen on the ground in an awkward position ...she found it so funny tht she began to giggle.
Milind was cursing the day as he heard sumone giggling .Turning around furiously , he saw prachi enjoying herself. Her eyes were twinkling and she looked like an innocent child ."why r u laughing?" he asked angrily. "oh nothing" replied Prachi replied innocently. "i was jus marvelling at the wonderful way u have managed to sit on the floor" she replied cheekily. He gave her an angry glare but she continued smilingly, " i really would have liked to help u get up but i am sorry i am late for breakfast and i am feelin very very hungry, she said sweetly . Irritated Milind turned back but he had a half smile on his face as he thought of her cheekiness. Both turned away in different directions smiling to themselves not knowing that one day life would bring them back to the same path......
