Part 78
Her body relaxing under the jets of hot water in the shower, Prachi looked through the huge bathroom window at the view that stretched as far as her eyes could see and beyond. Emerald green mountains nestled cosily under a flimsy drape of clouds, the warmth and splash of colour of the evening sky, the crystal clear waters of the striking blue green sea proudly displaying the wonders that lay in her shallow waters and yet hinting at much more mystery hidden at her very depth?.alluring, fascinating, tempting, adventurous and irresistible. She sighed with bountiful pleasure as the gentle waves lapped around the stilts on which their over water bungalow was perched on. Completely secluded from the resort itself and nestled amongst the trees, their bungalow had a private deck with a ladder to the water. It screamed of unthinkable luxury and privacy and breathtaking views across the lagoon. Prachi was still trying to come to terms with her surroundings. It was pure heaven and beyond.
Her heart had thundered with excitement as their plane neared the gleaming jewel like Island. She had held Milind's arm tightly as she gazed out of the window and again at him with utter wonder. He hadn't said a word and just smiled at her. Enclosing her in his arms, her head tucked under his chin, they had gazed out of the window of their private jet their eyes almost worshipping Mother Nature. The plane was another wonder for Prachi. As they were warmly welcomed and guided to their private plane, her eyes had widened in amazement at Mishra's embossed sign . Realising that it was their very own private jet, Prachi had just stared with wide eyes. Oh god, would she ever get used to this!! She had wondered to herself. It was early afternoon when they landed and were whisked straight to their little paradise. Prachi had walked around in a daze, lost in the beauty of the place. She had been as excited as a little girl when a light lunch was served from the canoe. Nestled in Milind's arms, she had gazed through the glass floor of their bungalow and watched the school of tropical fish with fascination as they danced in the warm turquoise waters. They hadn't said much to each other. The only noise around them was the sound of the ocean and the wind caressing the palm. Overwelhmed by the beauty of nature and content to be in eachother's arms, they ate their lunch in silence. Eyelids heavy and sighing as Milind's lips caressed her forehead softly; she had fallen asleep in his arms. Milind had woken her up with a cup of coffee and casually dressed they had strolled along the beach hand in hand. Prachi had been even more fascinated by the colourful stalls along the waterfront. She had bought a beautiful wooden pair of doves, carved by an expert hand. Now it sat at their bed side table.
Prachi pinned the side of her hair and looked at herself in the mirror. Dressed in a white one shoulder long flowing gown, embroided with small flowers, she looked good. She had absolutely no make-up on, apart from a touch of lip gloss. A pair of diamond earrings, rings and her mangalsutra was her only jewellery. She slowly walked towards the sit out area where Milind was laying out the dinner. Dinner was already beautifully laid out on a low table and her eyes searched for her husband. She drew a sharp breathe when she spotted him, leaning against the wooden rails and looking out to the sea. Dressed in casual trousers and a thin white shirt, his curly hair was in complete disarray, courtesy of the sea breeze. He turned at the soft sound and Prachi's breathe quickened. He looked hot and heartwrenchingly handsome. She blushed as Milind's eyes moved down her body and up again, in a deliberately slow caress taking every inch of her. He remained silent with his eyes still on her when she walked closer to him.
She looked down at herself, "What do you think?" she asked softly, her hands smoothing down her dress.
Without a word, Milind picked up a small yellow flower from the bouquet arranged on the dining table and placed it just where she had pinned her hair up. "As pretty as a flower", he said huskily.
Blushing at the look in his eyes, Prachi gave a shy smile. "And?" she asked softly.
Milind's lips creased into a small smile and moved closer to her, "Do you really want to know my thoughts?" he asked.
His eyes raked over her again as she nodded. "Though your dress is very pretty, it is nowhere in my thoughts. I have been thinking of what lays beneath its soft layers", his voice was seductively husky.
Prachi's cheeks darkened. Pinned against the rails and unable to move away from him, she looked at him from under her lashes, "Your thoughts are in no way decent, Mr. Mishra", she said softly.
Milind's lips traced her bare shoulder, "I have a sexy siren for a wife, Mrs. Mishra. Blame it on her beauty" he said. A shiver went through Prachi as he bit her shoulder gently. Milind moved away swiftly, "Dinner will get cold. Let's eat", he said and holding her hand, guided her to the table.
The sun was very low on the sky and the water shimmered with a myriad of colours. Prachi looked at her casually lounging husband from the corner of her eyes. Dinner had been fantastic, with a mixture of sea food and vegs. Milind had opted for champagne, while Prachi had a Shirley Temple. He had kept the conversation engaging and funny and had maintained a safe distance between them. Dessert was the last thing on Prachi's mind and all she wanted was to feel his arms around her. It was getting dark rapidly and the wooden lantern hung on the ceiling moved in the breeze adding to the romantic atmosphere. Her mind was filled by him and only him?. her need for him almost scared her. It wasn't only physical and emotional, it was much more than she could fathom. It was as if her whole self had blend into his...as if she wasn't even a separate person but a part of him. Does he feel the same? She wondered to herself. Feeling his eyes on her, she gave a shy smile. They have been married for a week now but she was still very shy around him. Moving closer to him, Prachi rested her head on his shoulder.
Milind traced the champagne flute down her cheek and Prachi shivered slightly.
"Still hungry?" he asked softly.
Prachi shook her head, "No" she said softly.
"But I am", he said again. Prachi gasped feeling the caress of the chilled glass against her lips. "I am ravenous", he said huskily.
"You have a very big appetite, Milind", she said naughtily and stood up.
Milind chuckled soflty. Enclosing her in his arms, he nuzzled her ear, "I don't hear you complaining" he said.
Feeling naughty and equally surprised at her boldness, she pretended to push him away, "I am actually planning for an early night" she said.
Milind's arms tightened around her, "Honeymoons and early nights don't go together, sweetheart. I am actually planning an all-nighter", he said. His eyebrows rose in surprise as she pushed him away firmly.
Leaning against the pillar, she looked at him with shy but innocently inviting eyes, "It's my call, darling. I get to call the shots tonight", she said.
Milind drew a sharp breath and moved close to her, his body rubbed against hers suggestively. "Of course, Cherry, It will be entirely your call. You tell me what to do" he blew against her neck and smiled satisfyingly as a shiver went through her. "...where to touch you,....when to kiss you....how to make love to you...guide me, honey...step by step. It's entirely your call" he voice was low and seductive.
Her courage ebbing away completely, she whispered pleadingly, "Mi...lind".
"Go on, Prachi, I am waiting", he brushed his body against hers again.
Face flaming; Prachi buried her face against his chest. With a triumphant laugh, he lifted her up against him. "You don't know how torturous dinner had been. I was waiting to do this all evening", he said huskily and his lips teased hers softly.
Prachi's hands tightened in his hair and he obliged by deepening the kiss. There was a distinct but not unpleasant taste of champagne, which Prachi's mushy mind found even more sensual. Her dainty feet dangled in the air and Prachi shivered as his fingers found the zip of her dress. She gasped and moved restlessly as his fingers caressed her skin. After what felt like eyons, his mouth left hers. Prachi looked at him with passion drugged eyes.
Completely lost in the erotic web he has spun around them, she whispered close to his ears, "Is it still my call?" she asked.
Milind groaned and buried his face against her neck, "You know it is, Cherry. Tell me what to do", he said in a hoarse voice.
Prachi's fingers tightened in his hair almost painfully and her voice shook when she whispered again, "Don't stop".
Milind bit back a groan. Oh, Heaven help me!!! He thought to himself. What was she doing to him? He took her lips again almost fiercely. They fell back on the soft cushions and he didn't stop for a very very long time.
Prachi moved closer to him and tightened her arm around him, "My teddy bear!" she said softly, rubbing her face against his warm chest.
Milind's lips creased into a small smile but he remained motionless. Turning around in his arms with her back to him, she looked out at the bright blue sky. True to Milind's words, it had been an all-nighter. "He is insatiable", she said to herself and blushed at her thoughts. They never made it to the bedroom and had even fallen asleep in the sit out area. She gasped as Milind hand closed on her breast.
"Your teddy bear is dying for a cuddle", he whispered near her ear.
Pushing his hand away, she rolled away from him. "Well, he is not getting anymore" she stuck her tongue out at him.
Grinning, Milind stretched his body and without warning, pulled her back to him.
"Milind??chodiye mujhe" Prachi struggled.
"Only in exchange for a steaming hot mug of coffee" he winked at her.
Smiling, she kissed him on his cheek, "Done. But you will have to take me on a shopping trip" she said.
Watching her go, Milind shouted back, "Let's do some thing today, Prachi. Swimming, canoeing, snorkelling??or even a boat trip?.there is so much to do. I will take you shopping in the evening" and stretched lazily.
They sat there planning their day over coffee and breakfast. Suddenly, Prachi turned to him, "Oh god, Milind, Vicky and Pooja would have had dinner with the whole family. Wonder how it went!" she said.
Milind leaned to kiss her forehead, "Vicky would call as soon as he gets a chance. Everything would have gone well. Don't worry about it. It's time for a shower now, darling. Let's go" he said and pulled her into his arms.
"Milind, let me go. You said Vicky would call any time. So, wait for the phone call", Prachi ran away before he could protest and shut the bathroom door.
Groaning, Milind stretched out. He smiled as the phone rang just then. Picking it up immediately, he asked, "How did it go, bro? All well?"
Vicky smiled, "As well as it could be. Dinner went well, conversation was polite and I made great impressions on Pooja's parents", he said and groaned as Pooja kicked him.
Milind smiled hearing Pooja's voice, "He thinks too much of himself, Milind. My parents only thought that he was okay. No great impressions there", she said haughtily.
Milind laughed, "How about you, Pooja? Did Vicky's parents think you were okay?" he asked.
"I hope so, Milind. You won't believe how scared I was. I wish you and Prachi were there. Vicky wasn't of much help. He only made me more nervous", she complained, ignoring Vicky's protest.
"Forget all that, Milind. Tell me about you. How are you, guys? Did you two even manage to get out of the bungalow?" Vicky asked teasingly.
"Sort of??.but not for long. There were too many things to do indoors", Milind said naughtily.
Vicky and Pooja laughed, "We thought so. Where is my dear Prachi bhabhi?" Vicky asked.
"She is in the shower, mate" said Milind.
"And what are you doing outside, bro? Did we call you guys at the wrong time? You guys carry on. We will talk to you later", Vicky said quickly.
Milind grinned, "Don't worry, bro. I lost my chance but will make up for it later. Ah, Prachi's here. Let me put her on", he said and smiled as a squealing Prachi jumped in joy and fired questions one after the other before Vicky or Pooja could answer even one.
"Prachi??.Prachiiiiiiiii, relax now. All went well. Your parents seem to be really missing you. Your father kept mentioning you throughout the dinner", said Vicky.
Prachi's face fell, "I called them only once, Vicky. How are they?" she asked softly.
"They are fine, Prachi. Don't worry about them. You enjoy your time there and you will be seeing them very soon, anyway", Pooja said softly. After a few minutes of teasing and laughter, they hung up.
Milind pulled a sullen looking Prachi on his lap. "I completely forgot to call them again, Milind" she said in a low voice.
"Sweetheart, you were jet lagged and you are on your honeymoon. Your parents will understand. They might still be busy with mine and Vicky's parents and it is already quite late. So, we will talk to them tomorrow. Now, let me shower and its time we get out and do something", he said softly and Prachi nodded with a smile.
The day flew by quickly. Milind took a swim in the sea while Prachi was content to sit on the steps of the ladder and watch. They floated on the raft on the crystal clear waters, soaking up the warmth of the sun. When Milind offered to teach her swimming, Prachi promised him that she would learn swimming in a swimming pool than the sea. Later, they took a glass bottomed boat trip around the island and Milind had smiled at her childlike excitement.
As promised, Milind took Prachi to Papeete, the capital city, for shopping. They strolled hand in hand soaking up the vibrant atmosphere of the city. Though famous for its black pearls, Prachi was slightly put off by the exorbitant prices. Rubbishing her concern, Milind indulged her. Picking up a beautiful double stranded pearl necklace, Prachi looked towards Milind and frowned. On the other end of the shop, Milind was busy chatting to one of the sales girls. Prachi narrowed her eyes as the girl giggled flirtatiously. Pretty and dressed flauntingly, she was bending over the counter and showing off a pair of pearl earrings to Milind. Prachi marched up to Milind and stood there glaring at him.
"Hey, sweetheart, I like these earrings. What do you think?" he turned to her.
Turning to glare at the girl, Prachi gave an uninterested shrug, "It looks okay. Milind, let's go. Nothing interests me here", looping her hand around her husband's arm and throwing a haughty look at the sullen looking girl, Prachi marched out of the shop.
Frowning at his wife's angry face, Milind asked, "Did you not like anything in that shop, Prachi? They had some good stuff".
Prachi looked at him, "I liked the jewellery but I didn't like that girl", she said angrily.
Surprised, Milind threw his head back and laughed, "Oh my! You are such a jealous wife, Prachi. That poor girl was only helping", he laughed again.
Prachi turned to him angrily, "Oh yeah, she was very helpful and you were happily flirting with her", she said.
As Milind laughed again, Prachi marched into the next shop angrily. Warming up to the pleasant and good looking sales man, Prachi picked up a few beautiful pieces of jewellery. Charmed by the young beautiful woman, the sales man was way too helpful and attentive. Throwing a look at Milind, Prachi soaked up all the attention. Apart from helping her chose the jewellery, Milind left her to handle all the conversation. Laden with bags, they had dinner at one of the restaurants and it was late evening when they reached their bungalow.
Stretching out in the lounge, Milind looked at his wife, "Were you trying to make me jealous in that jewellery shop, Prachi?" he asked softly.
Prachi gave a small smile, "Were you jealous?" she asked softly.
Milind traced a finger against her cheek, "Why should I be when I know that no man on earth can be any threat to me? I know my wife too well" he said huskily. Prachi blushed as his finger traced her lips. "I want to see you in these black pearls. I want to see how it looks against your skin. Wear them for me, sweetheart", he said in a low voice. Nodding softly, Prachi rushed in.
Minutes later, she walked out with gleaming black pearls adoring her ears, neck and wrist. Her long silver grey sleevless dress added to her beauty. Unable to stand the look in his smouldering black eyes, she looked down shyly.
"Beautiful", Milind said huskily, his hands tracing down her bare arms. Prachi moaned as his lips traced down her face, nibbled at her lips. He whispered near her ear, "I told you to wear these black pearls, Prachi. What I forgot to add was to wear ONLY these black pearls. Let's get rid of the dress. Shall we?" he said. Her shocked gasp was immediately drowned by his mouth crashing down on hers.
