Wow, a midnight wedding is romantic! I was reminded of the wedding of Naitik and Akshara in YRKKH where their wedding had stretched from the night and right upto the morning. I fervently hope that you would not stretch the wedding for more than one update. 😃 No more than one update. I won't go a lot into the details. In YRKKH, they are Rajasthanis and that's what I am familiar with too. So, I hope a gujju marriage won't be too different from a jain marriage. For starters I am not familiar with any North Indian marriages as I hail from the south. I did not know that Rajasthanian marriages were that long. From my purely academic knowledge I do not think there should be a huge difference since both are neighbors and a lot of customs tend to overlap where culture is concerned. Even if you change some things here and there I would not be able to make that out. So go ahead and give us the long awaited update.😃 I am from South India too, but a jain by marriage. Having been a part of my younger sister-in-law's wedding (a very long one which lasted for days), I am more familiar with those customs than my own wedding😆. but I won't go into wedding rituals. They will take forever then
