Being a gujju/shah myself, I relish all these dishes myself .

Thanks Neha. Yes, he has started realising her worth but he has to accept that what he has started feeling for her is more than care. yes, Prachi is the best thing to happen to him.

Sumu,
I had a block against bhaingan!!! 😆
Somone dear to me had told me in my childhood that you get chicken pox if you eat bhaigan. I gave up bhaigan religiously from that day. Though I soon realized there was no connections between bhaigan and chicken pox, I still was strongly against it since I didn't really like it. I got chicken pox at the age of 18 for the first time.. After that I hated myself for hating bhaingan so bad. When I moved abroad, I realized bhaingan was one of the few veggies I can find in the market, so ended up starting eating it, saying a sorry to Mr. Bhaingan.

including the recipe was a great idea, opti. now there's food for thought and thoughts on food. :)

Manu trust you to have your own unique take on this! There will be more food for thought in my next update. I need to think it through though.

Yas, I used to skip certain food items (like Upma, bhaingan) when my mom cooked. Now I do no nakhras and eat everything eversince I am on my own.

I still hate bhaigan and upma. Will never ever like them! Avoid them like plague!!!

has he ever stepped into a kitchen?!!! Yes, to boil water, egg and make Maggie noodles when Nandu kaka occassionally fell ill!,
omgggg....that was soooo cutteee....Thanks
so it seams that Prachi has taken an immense likin with his beared! Yes, she loves him with it.
she shud atleast have him trimmed that....Oh, my Milind always keep his beard well trimmed!
hehe...i was quite surprised with prachi's sudden kiss to him ddn expect her to be that bold...the girl talked about kissing him on the morning after their wedding remember!
.hehe...it also seemed that Milind is slowly fallin for her seeing the simplicity and the innocent of her more closely...he is actually trying very hard to make his marriage work after that night....he must be feeling very guilty for that...Yes, he is still feeling guilty after 25 years. So you can imagine then. Yes, he wants this marriage to work not out of sympathy for her but because he genuinely cares for her and wants to lvoe her as she deserves.

but what would happen if prachi finds out that the 'prachi' that milind has been in love for ten years was non other that ayesha? wil her heart not break then? wil prachi try to sacrifice him thinkin that he would never fall in love with her?! Lets see what happens.

fab one sis...continue soon thanks Sia.

Opti, I hate any dish with Prawn in it, be it prawn biryani, prawn curry, even simple thing as a prawn sandwich. No Opti, My dad coming from Surat has nothing to do with me watching Bandini, I just tuned in recently and took a liking to Mrunal/Hiten, not even following any scenes besides his.

So another Hiten fan!? I did not like him in the begining but he has sort of grown on me much like shabbo although Shabbo will always remain my favourite.

Bhaingan is not good for people with skin problem I believe. Anyway I hate that vegetable with a passion. Once saw a worm in it when I was small. Ever since then I cant stand it although there may be no worms! My hubby loves it but is allergic to it. Since I dont like it we hardly have it at home.

shubs, this is the dish that has turned my hubby into a cook. brinjal slices fried in mustard oil, bengali style. we both hated brinjals as children, but love this paired with curd-rice.
