I get so hurt these days to watch Kayamath (and I have almost stopped watching) and to witness what they have made out of our legendary Michi. Ever since Michi married, it has only been a saga of Michi separation and reunion. Initially for misunderstandings concerning Neev, then for Sukruti's marriage issue, Michi had reached the brink of separation. At that time, since it was all-new and Michi hadn't even confessed their love for each other, we all prayed for their reunion and confession of love.
Then Michi confessed (thanks to Ayesha's trick to have them separated) and that created the adorable couple Michi. We were wrong if we hoped then that as Michi were a couple in every sense, there should be together from now on. In a matter of days, PIM track started. As if there was no other way to save Sukruti's kid, Prachi was made the mother of the kid and hence Milind wanted to divorce her for having a baby with someone else. They dragged it to court and thanks to Ritwick baby things got sorted out after months of torture to both Michi and us.
They shouldn't have stretched this separation-union story further more. But that had slowly become the trademark of Kayamath. Now that Milind finally had known Prachi was by his side and Ayesha's evil plans were out, they threw Milind off the cliff and took his memory off selectively so that he forgets his new found relationship with Prachi. I think then started the downfall of Kayamath. The PA track had us bored to death with Milind's blank looks, Prachi's unending tears and Ayesha's super duper plans to get hooked up with Milind. Anyways, at the end of this track they proved though Milind lost his memory and met Prachi as a stranger, he still fell in love with her. Wasn't that enough test for Michi's love? Well, for us it was more than enough, but for the creatives........
Then they got someone to kill Milind, tried to bring Neev as an issue between Michi again with Milind trusting him and Prachi doubting him. But may be they decided not to turn Neev negative as the poor guy was a gem of a friend to Prachi previously. However they didn't give up on the idea of Michi separation. As if Ayesha wasn't enough, they got another pink WWW (much worse than Ayesha) and made her fall flat for the happily married man Milind. And the woman turned out to be so powerful that she killed Ayesha, sent Ranveer to jail and most importantly sent Prachi out of Milind's life for good. The creatives had to make Prachi so weak that she left Milind rather than showing how she fought for her love.
They separated the couple for 5 plus years wasting the best time of Michi's married life and denying Milind his beloved fatherhood and denying us all those pregnant Prachi- nervous Milind, Milind changing baby's nappy scenes. As if this wasn't enough they had to make Prachi someone else's fake wife and butcher her character so much that most of the Michi fans got annoyed to death. And Milind wasn't spared either. He was transformed from a strong, self-respectful, responsible man to a weak and meek husband disappointing his fans.
Even after all this, the tyranny hasn't stopped. Now they have got Ayesha's look alike or her ghost to separate Michi. And Michi's siblings are doing all they can do to generate crisis in the Michi heaven.
Is separation-reunion the only way to depict a love story? Can a couple not be with each other and face life together? There are many different ways to show the life of a married loving couple other than the above out of the world scenarios.
Makes me say poor Michi are a cursed couple- cursed by the creatives and we Michi fans are cursed too.
