Milind and Prachi had been meeting each other secretly at Milind's chawl house whenever they got the chance. The enjoyed the retreat they shared away from everyone and everything where they could savour each moment together. Though they didn't like creeping around their families Milind and Prachi just wanted to keep things between them for a while and make the most of their new found relationship.

Prachi was happy the way things had changed for the better she had finally found the man she loved and who loved her back too. She forgot about all the testing times she faced as it was worth the pain as Milind and her relationship couldn't be stronger. She cherished every time they met and found peace in his arms, they didn't need words but the silence itself conveyed their love. If she was not with Milind or talking to him then she would be lost in his thoughts with a endless smile on her face.

Milind was delighted to with how everything had worked and finally he was with the one he loved, Prachi. However he still felt guilty for not being able to understand Prachi's love the way she understood his. It disturbed Milind that his silence and doubts had hurt Prachi greatly in the past whereas Prachi had given him nothing but love. Milind decided that he needed to make it to Prachi so that she really knew how important she was in his life. Weeks it had taken Milind to come up with the perfect plan that nothing could ruin as he would never allow it.

Prachi softly knocked on the door of the chawl house however there was no reply after waiting patiently she pushed the door to see if it was open. The door slowly creaked open and Prachi ventured in to find the room dimly lit up my candles. Prachi gleefully looked around trying to find Milind but had no luck. As Prachi glanced at the floor in front of her she found a path of roses. With a smile on her face Prachi followed the path and stopped when she found a little note left on the side addressed to her. Prachi read the note aloud every moment I spend with you is a moment to be cherished. Prachi walked along a little further to find another note when you are in my arms I could hold onto you forever. As Prachi walked around the flat she found several notes.When I close my eyes all I see is you and when I open them, all my eyes search for is you.
I can see my whole life in your eyes'my past, my present and most of all, my future.
When I look at you the dark becomes light, but when I'm without you my day turns to night.
Your beauty takes away my breath because when I look at you I can see everything that you stand for truth, honesty but most of all love.

The rose path stopped at the door of Milind's old room where Milind left a on the door saying I love you...not from the bottom of my heart, but from the core of my soul. Prachi was overwhelmed by Milind's romantic display and was able to grasp her happiness. Prachi half opened the door and walked into the room which was completely empty apart from the candles which lined the outskirts of the room. Soft music started to play and Prachi looked to find Milind appearing from behind the door. Prachi opened her mouth to share her happiness with Milind but he placed a finger on her lips stopping her from saying anything. Milind held his hand open asking Prachi for a dance to which she contently assented to. Milind looked into Prachi's eyes as they slowly swayed to the music he could see the elation beaming through which brought smile to his face. He carefully watched Prachi as the candles gave her face a soft glow emphasising her simple yet striking beauty. After feeling deeply shy from Milind's admiring gaze Prachi placed her head on Milind's shoulder covering her face. Milind chuckled at Prachi's innocence and pulled her closer and whispered in her ear, "Miss Shah, will you do me the honour of being my wife?" Prachi took a step back from Milind still holding onto his hands and Milind impatiently awaited Prachi's answer. "Milind..." Prachi stuttered still shocked but before she could continue Milind interrupted. "Prachi if you are not ready or it's too soon I completely understand but I love you and..." Prachi placed her finger on Milind's lips making him stop his rambling. "Yes..." Prachi said looking into Milind's eyes while he stood unable to comprehend Prachi's words. "Yes what?" Milind asked needing to hear Prachi say it once more. "Yes I will marry you..." Prachi repeated her consent but this time shyly averting her eyes from Milind; not being able to control his happiness Milind lifted Prachi into his arms and twirled her around the room. Prachi called out to Milind several times to be put down and only after Milind felt he had fully celebrated he carefully placed Prachi's feet on the ground. "Prachi I am so happy," Milind said with a huge grin on his face. "Me too," Prachi also felt the same level of joy and tightly embraced Milind.

Milind and Prachi silently sat in each other's arms while gazing into the night sky taking in its beauty. It was a clear night with a full moon and the stars brightening the sky. Milind tightly held onto Prachi not wanting to let the perfection of the moment go. Prachi looked up at Milind and feeling so lucky to have met a man like him giving her so much joy more than she could have imagined. "Why are looking at me like that?" Milind asked wondering why Prachi's eyes were fixed on his face in such a dreamy way."I was just seeing how lucky I am for having you. Today you have given me everything." "Prachi I am lucky that I found you. I love you so much and want to spend every moment I can with you. I can't wait to wake up every morning to your face and go to sleep with you in my arms." "I love you too..."

After the marriage proposal Milind and Prachi had to face the challenge of telling their parents of their relationship. Milind knew Baba would be overjoyed to have Prachi as a daughter-in-law but he had no idea how he would tell his father such a thing. Prachi also found it too nerve-wrecking to tell her parents that she had found herself a husband and then having to answer there hundreds of question and be under interrogation. Prachi knew her father was very protective of her and breaking it to him that she was in love was going to be a daunting task. Milind suggested getting Ayesha and Neev to talk to both their parents that way it would be easier however Prachi did not agree. Prachi remembered when she broke the news of Ayesha's relationship with Neev to her parents and how they were hurt by the fact Ayesha had not herself told them the truth. Prachi concluded that Milind would tell Baba himself while she would talk to her parents no matter how scary it was going to be it was the right way to go about things. Before they would tell their parents there were two important people they needed to tell first.

"We need to tell you something..." Prachi said hesitantly looking towards Neev and Ayesha. "What?" Ayesha said excitedly. "Well...Me...and...Milind..." Prachi stuttered. "Yes..." Ayesha nudged eagerly. Prachi looked over to Milind for help as she was struggling. Ayesha looked at Prachi and smiled. Ayesha was finding it hard not to laugh at Prachi's anxious face and Milind's silent form. "We're in love," Milind blurted out speedily trying to still make it clear to Ayesha and Neev. Milind and Prachi took a sigh of relief knowing the hardest part was over but now they had to wait for Neev and Ayesha's recation who were silently looking at each other. "Finally it took you this long to say that..." Ayesha laughed breaking the tense silence. Neev joined in, "We've been waiting ages for you two to tell us this." "You know?" Prachi asked shocked that she had gone through all that panic unnecessarily. "Of course Ayesha told me," Neev replied simply. "How do you know Ayesha?" Milind enquired. "Very simple I found out the day the both you found out. When Milind was talking about love I noticed both of you displayed that same glow in your faces and the rest of the night you two were silently stealing glances at each other. I was just waiting for you both tell each other, then me and Neev. It took you guys long enough to finally tell us," Ayesha explained. "Why didn't you tell us you knew or even helped us along the way?" Prachi asked while looking at Milind. "I didn't want to interfere as you both needed to confess your feelings in your own time. So tell me when is everyone else going to find out? I'm guessing we're the first people to know..." Ayesha displayed her excitement. "Why would you be the first to know?" Milind teased. "It's our right we are your best friends, you were the first people to know about me and Neev so it's obvious you'd tell us first," Ayesha made clear. "Have you told anyone before us?" Neev asked Prachi who was suppressing her smile. "Well...umm..." Prachi gave a worried expression as Milind also shared the same look. "How could you? We're your best friends..." Ayesha said feeling cheated. Milind and Prachi broke into smile "We're joking of course you're the first people we told..." Milind said but both Ayesha and Neev looked unconvinced, "Promise you are the first people we told." "Good otherwise it would have been very bad..." Ayesha informed them, "...now when are you going to tell everyone else? If you want me and Neev to help then just tell us because we owe you Prachi." "Well Milind is telling Baba tomorrow and I think I will tell Papa and Ma tomorrow as well if Papa isn't too stressed with work." "You brave people..." Neev laughed. The four of them enjoyed meal together, laughing and talking their hearts out.

The next day came so fast for Milind and Prachi as they headed out to work knowing what was happening in the evening. During the day both were distracted from and sat trying get what they were going to say perfect. Prachi had made several calls to Milind needing some advice and support but he was as nervous as she was. As the evening came they knew all that had to be was honest with their parents and that's what they did. Milind explained to Baba his love for Prachi and desire to marry her. Baba was ecstatic hearing the news as for the past few days he had been wondering when Milind would marry and Milind was surprised to see how easy it was telling Baba.

Prachi had found the perfect moment to tell her parents how she loved Milind and his proposal of marriage. Premlata then understood the reason behind Prachi's recent optimism and was thrilled for her daughter. Prachi sat waiting for her father to say something as his face gave away nothing. Inder looked at his daughter saddened that she grown up so quickly and now she would leave like Ayesha. Inder gave his blessing to Prachi but she saw no happiness in his face and presumed he was disappointed as he made his way to the study. Prachi followed him behind and asked him for forgiveness if she had hurt him with tears in her eyes. Inder understood Prachi's concern, wiping her tears he embraced in a hug and told her that he was happy that she had found a capable for her. However he told her that the news just awoken a thought he had never considered so seriously before that his precious daughter would leave forever. Prachi cried even more sharing the pain of separation from her family but she promised her father that she always come visit and never forget them.
