Popularly known as the heartthrob of Indian Television, Shabbir began his career playing negative roles. Known for his rugged and drop-dead-gorgeous looks, well toned body, Shabbir, today rightly rules hearts of many women.

The hunky television actor also has some critically acclaimed movies like Shootout at Lokhandwala and Mission Istanbul on his ever expanding resume along with some experience in anchoring talent shows on TV.

Having hosted shows earlier, Shabbir is definitely looking forward to stepping in the anchor's shoes again. He said with a wink, "My male sixth sense tells me I'm going to enjoy hosting Dancing Queen very much. Watching these hot women dancing is going to be one helluva party! We all have seen some of these gorgeous ladies dance before, only I'm going to be the lucky one to be present with them through the show!"
