Michi fans are outraged about the leap. Why did Balaji see the need for a leap in the first place? Why not resolve all the tracks that have been left open and been a thorn in the sides of the audience.

There was plenty to keep the stories going. If written well, these tracks could have been TRP gainers but Balaji resorted to the old and risky tactic with a leap.
We gave the creatives our trust after repeated assurances that they will not taint Michi love but will bring a 'new flavor and fresh michi love story'. Also'that Prachi will be seen in a more glamorous avatar.
Why are the creatives expecting the audience to accept a new jodi with a parallel lead to Shabir? If we (Michi fans) could not accept Jay'.do they think we will accept Gaurav?
In the first episode of the leap it was absolutely heartless of the creatives to show Panchi running and frolicking with Gaurav. It is unrealistic to expect the audience to believe that an Indian woman (whether it is Panchi Dasgupta with a new face or Prachi Mishra with her own face) who is real or fake married to Gaurav and with children would behave in such a manner in front of elders and guests at a puja ceremony.
Michi fans are very loyal to and protective of their jodi and anything that threatens their jodi will not be accepted whatsoever. The creatives have only themselves to blame by giving us a couple that were the epitome of pure, innocent and untainted love and who professed time and again that they were unable to live without each other.
The scene on the bed was a big mistake.
' If Panchi is playing the role of the real Panchi Dasgupta with face change, then in Michi fans eyes that face only belongs to Prachi Mishra. To expect the fans to accept that this person is now Panchi Dasgupta and living with her husband Proteek Dasgupta is the height of madness.
' If Panchi is playing the role of Prachi Shah'then this is the most disgusting sight for Michi fans to stomach. The audience is expected to believe that a woman who professed undying love to her soul mate is going to let another man get this close to her even if he is like a brother or very close friend. No married woman is ever going to behave in such a manner with another man.
Panchi's new avatar with the Bengali dressing seems to have regressed a couple of centuries. Surely creatives do not expect the audience to believe that people dress like that everyday.
The new family looks like a bunch of cartoon characters just run away from the circus. At least the Shah family had a bit of class. Kayamath fans may have cribbed about the storylines and some of the characters before the leap'but we were a lot happier with the old cast. They were easier to relate to. Some will say'but we are not giving a chance to the new cast. From the little I have seen I have no interest in seeing Panchi as a real or fake bahu of this khandan.
And where is Milind Mishra/Shabir Alhuwalia. The creatives just pulled him out of the serial without any explanation to the audience with an article announcing, 'Milind has been given a much deserved break to cool his heels'. Is he going to come back? If so... how long is the audience expected to wait? By the way'if the creatives have any ideas of bringing Milind/Shabir back as a ghost like in Karam Apna Apna, you can kiss your serial goodbye. It will go the way of Karam Apna Apna and your TRP's will be in the tank. This scenario does not seem implausible seeing as the title of the serial is 'Kayamath'.
There is nothing about the leap that I like so far except the Michi child and the fact the he resembles Milind. But even here, the audience are left in a sense of injustice as Milind is going to miss the formative years of a child he as been looking forward to for a long time with the child calling another man 'Papa'.
