Well most of my friends criticised me for listening to him they thought I had my heart broken the reason I listened to him, but the fact is I just love the way he brings out apathy and pain through his voice. Have you heard "Woh kagazki kashti woh baarish ka paani" also "Mujhko yaqeen hai sach kehti thii jo bhi ammi kehti thi jab merey bachpan key din they chand main pariyaan rehti theen". The latter is really ver very heart rendering.

oh taht sach kehti hai ammi...makes me cry ya..

When I said yeh daulat bhi le lo.. i meant kaagaz ki kashti only.. I guess it stars as daulat bhi le lo..

Jagjit's voice is absolutely soulful... Even my friends used to think what is it listen to as in South India, most people don't listen to ghazals. But I owe so much to Jagjit Singh.
