Yes, Deepa, the dates are almost the same not the same as in the earlier case. In fact, there is another one where there are contrasting scenes on the exact same day but I am adding some more from the next day's episode as well to bring out the contrast more starkly. Since that would require a little more time I posted this one first. The beer can scene is really innovative. Have not seen such a scene elsewhere.

omg!! Opti....i love the 'now' scene!! he's amazing beyond belief....esp. 'tu meri Sita ban jaa, mein tere liye Raam Lila karne ke liye tayyar hoon'....omg!! love him!!

Opti--when i saw the 'then' scene i knew which scene wud you choose for the change in his behavior!! 😎😎😎

overgrown baby, indeed! i do think she mellowed him immensely....he wasn't easy going and playful even with Ayesha in the past....and i don't know if Prachi's love has mellowed or not...i think its just a case of misplaced priorities for that crackhead!! blahhh.....

Thank you. So you seem to like the 'now' scene. The rest were all too caught up in the 'then' scene. Sadly our Sita is playing someone's patni and Ram cannot play Ram Lila with her.

In all my mix making which involves collecting scenes from different episodes, I am noticing many things I would have otherwise not noticed. That's how I realised the incidents are very similar yet different in these two episodes aired on dates very close to each other.

I feel the security that Prachi's love gave him allowed him to ease up instead of being taut as he was before. He always had a good sense of humour even those days, going by his one liners but he always remained on guard as he was never totally comfortable in any human relationship except maybe with his sister. Prachi changed all that.

I have added my latest mix on Michi-Then and Now III. This is the third in the series which compares Michi scenes. The scenes are from July 30, 2007 and July 29-30, 2008. Do leave your comments.

Oye yaar Opti itni mushkil sey kal duusra waala dekha you made a third one too..... My comments I loved the Then scenario though I've seen it countless times before I was compelled to watch it minutely this time. It brought back memories I had loved Milsi then I love him now too the stark contrast in the attitudes and behaviour was so distinct I was overwhelmed. When he enters the room drunk the expressions were simply superb anger and disgust writ large on his face, the way he sways and then tries to open his belt was indictive of his wonderful act, honestly the look he gave her when she opened the belt's buckle for him was priceless shock so evident. Prachi I must say looked so confident then she didn't cry neither gave in rather did what she believed was right. Emptying his beer cans and filling them with water. When he finds out it's water in the can his head just flips in her direction and for a moment she fears he might just reprimand her but he just drinks all of it as if thinking "Oh what the heck! I'll drink it anyways."

The Now scene was humorous as well as symbolic, his laboured gait his act of looking as if he was drunk really had me smile. Specially his laugh when she says "Main aapko aisey nahin dekh sakti" and he laughs saying "To mat dekh". Their lovely convo him explaining why he didn't drink and the way he poured all the drinks in the potted plant "Us podey ki to vaat'j lag gayi hogi... nahin" and then that cute grin. Also "Tuu meri Sita ban jaa main Ram leela kerney ko bhi tayyar huun" took the cake. Prachi looked so sweet a marked difference in the confidence displayed by her in conversating with her husband the shy smile when he picks her up the genuine love shining through her eyes it was beautiful.

All in all I liked it a lot.

Thanks Munee. The latest one will be my last one for quite awhile so wanted to post it before I left. Will you PM me the transalation for Kaise yeh over the weekend? If I find time I'll start the mix and hopefully complete it by the time I get back. Do let me know what you think of the latest one after you have seen it.

wow!! that was amazing!! Opti, i was thinking the dance from that party celebrating Milind-Mallika collaboration b/w Michi was soooo romantic and beautiful!! perhaps i think 'baahon ke darmiya' has more scope for romance than the song from OSO!! but these are just my thoughts....i actually caught the epi just the other day and i was surprised that i had missed THIS!! it was absolutely sigh-worthy!!

Excellent again!! its kinda funny how the dates match...almost a year apart!! :DD Keep 'em coming!!
