May i please offer some advice? as a decade old married woman? and as a woman whose mother does not think very highly of her husband?

I've had similar issues in the past, and the way i moved out of them was two fold -

. to let my husband and mother know that husband comes first, harsh as that may sound

. to stop all reporting to my mother about my husband/our life together, esp. things that would leave a gate open for interference, criticism, 'advice'.

honestly, if this is not solved now, take it from me, you're going to have a real tough time when the kid/s comes. mummy knows best, but sometimes, after one is married, husband's need to know they come first, and mummies need to know that too.
