There are times in all our lives, when we desire the need for divine intervention; times, when life refuses to acknowledge the seemingly obvious and decides to take refuge in a world that is far away from ours. A world that gives the body and mind the spiritual healing that it yearns for. We, at Telly Chakkar.com decided to delve deeper into the lives of our favourite stars and know a little about their lives beyond the obvious.

Define God?

You can't see him but you believe in him.

What is spirituality to you?

I am a very spiritual person. Whenever I take up new work I offer my prayers to The Almighty. I religiously go to the Siddhivinayak temple and I have been doing so even before I was a star. I go there as and when my schedule permits me.

What special bond/connection do you feel with God and your inner-self?

Earlier I didn't believe much in God. I used to tag along with my mother to the temples but of late my belief and trust in God has grown immensely. God has made me what I am today. But I don't make Him special he is like a friend, a confidante who knows everything about me and whenever I feel I go upto Him. No matter what situation I am in be it good, bad or ugly I go and pray to God. I am not mean and selfish to go to His shelter only in times of need.

I would also credit my guru Vyas Maharaj for my success and fame that I have achieved. The best thing about my Guru is that he doesn't even charge a penny where you see others making a fool of us and charging us a bomb for their advice. I follow my Guru blindly as whatever he has told me has happened.

How much do you believe in the magic and power of prayers?

I do believe a lot in the power of prayers and it does work. It increases your confidence level as once you are with God you know nothing can go wrong. You feel secure with knowing the fact that come what may God will take care of you.

Who do you credit for your ability to overcome the hurdles, if any?

After God and my Maharaj, I immensely acknowledge the presence and support of my brother Darshan in my life. I share almost everything with him and follow his advice and suggestions and trust me they always work.

What kind of books do you read? Especially to get connected to God and your spiritual side?

I don't like to read books.

What do you do on a daily basis to remain connected to God and your inner-self?

The first thing I do after I get up from my sleep is to chant a special mantra given to me by my Guru. I have a small altar at home where I offer my prayers.

Astrology, numerology and tarot reading? Have you taken help of such occult sciences?

I completely believe in these sciences. If someone tells you that your good time has started then you push yourself to work even harder. These positive words boost up your confidence. I too have taken help of these occult sciences like astrology. I wear three rings on my hand and I strongly believe that the stones have helped me rise in life and career.

Do you fast?

I get irritated if I have to work on an empty stomach and my co-actors face my wrath and mood-swings. My mother has advised me against fasting. I am a compulsive eater and I have to munch on something every now and then.

Following rituals?

I don't believe in following rituals. Just because the world is doing something I can't be doing the same.

What is your comfort zone?

I sleep to unwind.

What keeps you going?

Lots of masti (fun and frolic) and girls.

Any wish that you would want God to fulfill?

I don't have to ask God for anything. I believe he knows what I want and will bless me.
