Yes, Adi's character is completely ruined by the makers. It has no traits of the old Adi.
The makers made Adi the scapegoat to show Kavya can manage both lives successfully. So, they made him make mistakes continuously effecting her both lives and show that Kavya is fighting everything alone.
This made Adi's character meaningless completely now. It looks as if he was not required in the show at all. OR a person like Kavya should never marry in her life, as she can go to any extent to sacrifice everything for her work.
