Looks like, its dropped later, otherwise why journalism in the first place or may be it will happen later, like Adi decides to become police officer to be able to stay close to Kavya all the time and protect her (I may be wrong here though)..

Yes, he should have been continued as IAS or his suspension should have been cancelled..

But I guess, with that, 2 IAS officers posted at 2 different places, the story will not progress, hence it was left at that..

I think, there must be something good planned for his career for sure, have to wait and see..
