Isn't the marriage itself enough as revenge for their deal? May be Kavya convinces Adi to forgive them, as they have to live with them eventually and when they still blame Kavya/insult her, then he decides to leave the house??

Hopefully, they close this deal/promise/jail chapter soon along with AdYa happily married and move on to new phase, professional and family challenges, I think, the show has lots more to offer...
