the worst nightmare

kavya and shubham were sitting in her room, all silent, kavya was scared and uncomfortable,

"kavya I think you should return home, leave all this studies and everything anyhow you dont have to work later, why getting along all these males and creating situations like this" said shubham,

kavya understood that he must have got some news about adhi also and is trying to warn me, but because of all these, he has changes his mind about my studies.. now that one dream i was living for is also lost. " Kavya come on pack your bags we will leave by evening" commanded shuham.. and went out to book the bus ticket.

kavya felt disheartened and broken, she saw tge knife keot on the side table and picked it up. attempted to cut her wrist but adhi came on time and stopped her"kavya? what the hell were you doing" shouted adhi.."adhi please go from here or else he will hurt you" pleaded kavya " kavya please calm down, what happened" asked adhi.. " everything is finished adhi, he wants me back home he dont want me to study, he has come to take me" said kavya between her sobs.. adhi hugged her to calm her down, kavya pushed his as soon as she realised.. keave "adhi.. dont come in front of him he knows everything, please go adhi," cried kavya trying to push him away and felt unconcious in adhi's arms..

jhumki, mrs Sahani and shubham were standing in the medical room waiting for doctor, she informed them that kavya has been through lots of stress and needs to get some rest, shubham informed that he is anyhow taking her home for good and shall discontinue her studies.. Mrs Sahani tried to explain but shubham was stern.. " its between me and my would be wife please dont interfere" said shubham.. and left to make arrangements.

jhumki messaged all what happened to adhiraj..

Adhiraj felt bad that somewhere he is responsible for all this mess, he had made kavya more stressed, but he was hating himself more as kavya said that he reminds her of shubham and could understand the similarity of how they both were forcing their feelings on her irrespecetive of what she wants or feel. he realised but too late.

he called his mother and shared what all happened, and asked for help and guidance.

evening at the bus stop.

shubham lifted kavya in her arms to make her sit in the bus but kavya felt disgusted on the closeness, she recalled how adhi picked her up like a flower gently and smiled at her. she returned from her flashback realising that she is leaving everything behind and wont be seeing any one again..

they reached her village and was amused to see that the whole village was decorated and she was informed by her mother who came to pick her up that today was her marriage.. kavya was taken a back.

"maa but with this broken leg" asked her. "yes what ever it is, you will get married today even if you are about to die" informed her mother.

kavya understood that something must have happened here that is why everyone was looking at her in a different way..

that is when her sister came in her room and shared the actual reason, that Shubham came home yesterday and sounded very upset that someone has informed that one of your class mate boy is behind you and also has tried to hurt you," said her sister, Navya.. kavya realised what happened.. and all this was informed by someone from the campus but whom.. but what can she do now thought her and gave up, but she was feeling disgusted to marry shubham and was desperately wishing to end her life.. but unfortunately neither can she run nor can cut herself as her mother warned even if she is about to die she will still have to marry, just to satisfy shubham's ego she thought.

she shared with her sister Navya that she dont want to get married and wish to die.. " Navya please bring me poison or do something I dont want to get married to him" pleaded kavya.. Navya looked at her surprised, "didi its you who taught us to accept everything that is served and now you only saying all this"

Kavya thought she will buy some time in doing IAS and after that she will make some way to escape from this marriage but now she was stuck because of that stupid Rudra

"Di dont do anything wrong I will call mother" said Navya.. " no please dont tell her anything" requested kavya she knew what are her parents they prefer to disown her rather than to fulfill her wish thought she... disown? what if I make them hate me so that they will be angry on me and throw me out of thw house but then also shubham will anyhow marry her.. all this made kavya's head ache worse and started getting dizzy and fell down

kavya slowly opened her eyes and found her self not in her room it was a new place and kavya was scared if shubham has married her when she was not in her senses.. she heard foot steps and tried to hide but to her surprise it was adhi.. "goodmorning kavya, slept enough?" asked adhi and sat down beside her with a plate full of fruits.. " eat now see you have become so thin" said him feeding her.. kavya was unable to process anything but was definitely relieved seeing adhi.. she hugged him and pleaded him to take her away, adhi patted her back and spoke in her ears you are safe now Mrs Kavya pradhan, said adhi giving the second shock of her life .. kavya looked at adhi and touched her forehead which was filled with sindoor and mangalsutra in her neck.. what happened, what am I not aware of? asked kavya.. "shshhhh kavya relax, I will tell you everything, but first of all I am sorry I didnt ask you before doing all the rituals but It was circumstantial if I have not done that I could have not saved you from that psycho shubham said adhi while kavya was still in his arms.. kavya took a deep breath and relaxed her head on adhis chest. adhi felt good seeing that kavya was not angry... he held her like a baby and calmed her down with silence.. after sometime adhi slowly called her name, "kavya you okay?" kavya noded positively in his embrace, dont you want to know how we got married?" asked him.. but instead of asking how kavya questioned that where are they?

adhi was happy seeing kavya comfortable with him and took a deep breath of relief.. "we are in our bedroom" said adhi kavya looked at him with frowned eyebrows, "its your sasural" he said kavya sat upright "what?its your home?" asked her "yess bahu rani now get ready as maa is coming to meet you" said adhi.. kavya got scared and looked around "relax kavya.. maa is coming, not your village people" said adhi "adhi we are married now?" asked kavya inncently. adhi nodded yes "Its you home my sasural?" adhi nodded yes " your mom is coming to see me?" adhi nodded yes

kavya forgot her leg fracture and tried to get up.. "ohh hello mrs pradhan you need to take rest you are still not allowed to get off your bed.." said adhi.. kavya had lots of questions going on in her mind when senior Mrs pradhan entered the room. "adhi how is kavya now?" asked her, kavya recalled seeing her with Mrs Sahani oitside adhis room at campus, and greeted her as anty "call me maa, adhi calls me the same" said Mrs Pradhan keeping her hand on kavyas head. kavya tried to touch her feets bending down but Mrs pradhan stopped her," you take rest, I just came to see my son's wife " said her smiling, kavya also smiled hesitatingly.. " whats this you have not even fed her properly adhi" scolded his mother.. "I will maa" said adhi and picked up the plate.. his mother left after making sure everything is there in room and calling out the maid for kavya's help.. adhi sat in front of kavya and resumed feeding her.. kavya looked at adhi, "Adhi are you sure?" asked kavya.. "regarding what?" aksed adhi.." regarding us?" asked kavya. Adhi smiled and gave a quick peck on her cheek surprising kavya and leaving her blushing, "did you feel disgusted?" asked him kavya nodded no"did you like it?" asked adhi kavya blushed and hid in his embrace, "see if you are confortable and happy then I am sure we will make a beautiful couple" said him.. adhi tucked her head behind her ears exposing her cheek bent down his chin to plant another soft kiss which he has always imagined but kavya got up leaving adhi waiting.. "adhi now tell me what all happened, what hallend to shubham my parents my villagers" asked kavya, adhi pulled kavya towards him while falling back on bed making her to fall on his chest " hmm so lets start from when you passed out"

flashback Adhis POV

i called my mom informing about the issue she enquired the details of your village and asked me to go behind you, when I reached your home and entered through window you were about to fall down and I held you in my arms, that is when navya enetered the room she was about to shout seeing me when I requested her to listen to me first, i told her that we both are lovers and wanted to get married but shubham has brought her here.. Navya said so that is why didi wanted to do suicide and was so annoyed at you that you became so weak to decide that. then she asked me to marry you and take you away from her handed over sindoor and Mangalsutra and asked me to adorn you with it.. i initially refused but she said that it is the only way you can take her from here or else shubh will marry you either by hook or crook. so finally I had to agree and filled sindoor and made you wear mangalsutra while you were repeating my name again and again in your subconcious state. i took it as a positive sign and completed the ritual then your sister asked me to carry you out of the window.. she warned me that now I had to fight with the whole village if I want to take you away from there.. i somehow tried to escape taking you in my arms but soon shubham came in front and was taken a back seeing your hair line already filled and attacked me in anger, I somehow escaped and then suddenly my driver came with the car and asked me to get inside and brought us here completed adhi

kavya looked at adhi worried, "what if shubham comes behind us," asked her " we will see what we can do regarding it. " consolled adhi.. "but for now kavya lets take some rest, I feel so tired" said adhi puling her more in his embrace, slowly they both drifted off to sleep

kavya and adhi woke up to noises coming from outside, kavya got tensed to hear group of people shouting outside as if they would tear down the whole building if they dont get what they want,

adhi tried to get up from the bed to inspect whats wrong but kavya held his shirt tight now allowing him to go leaving her alone, kavya felt helpless because of her fractured leg she felt like a handicap. Adhi asured her that he will be back and requested to let him go, kavya gave up and looked at him helplessly.. adhi ran outside to see,

adhi's mother came into the room hurriedly with a bag fullof clothes and money, handed over to kavya and helped her to sit on her wheelchair, "kavya beta listen to me carefully all these are your village people they somehow found out about you and adhi, they are thirsty of blood, its not safe to stay here, please for now go from here, our driver will take you out safely from backdoor"explained kavya's MIL, "adhi?" questioned kavya, "ofcourse he is coming with you" assured MIL.. "shyaam.! please take madam safely" instructed MIL to their elderly driver, "Maa.!" kavya called out of concern, she was feeling guilty that all this mess was created because of her and unnecessarily others are suffering.. while Adhi's mother came near her cupping her face with love "dont dare think that this is because of you, be brave and strong like you always do, take care of my Adhi too" requested her MIL.

kavya kept looking with concern towards her MIL till the driver took her away and she was no longer visible.

driver helped her sit in the car and opened the back gate and drove out, while kavya worriedly peeped outside as Adhi was still not seen, what if they harm Adhi thought kavya and felt restless uneasy, but to increase her fear, Adhi didn't turn up and car left too far from their home.. kavya was shattered and scared, what all happened in a day, shubham, adhi, his confession, their marriage, their few hours together and now this seperation and no news of Adhi.. what would she do if Adhi dont return to her?" thought her...

3 months later.....

kavya could walk again on her own feet, she was happy and looked at shyaam, "kaka see I am able to walk on my own now" showed kavya while shyaam smiled looking at her,

"lets go home, your Kaaki must be waiting" said shyaam and took Kavya home,

a young girl who was almost same age of her sister Navya came running excited "Kavya didi came walking" she screamed in excitement..kavya smiled and they both started twirling round holding each others arms laughing..

while a elderly female who happened to be shyaam's wife came out happily listening to their laughs, "jug jug jio" she blessed kavya seeing her playing on her feet, kavya took blessings from her, "mumy now its time for party" said the girl jumping in joy " hes sure why not our Kavya beta has recovered, we have got a genuine reason to party,we will eat something special" said shyaam, "chaya, we will prepare something good with our own hand and let them rest for a change" said kavya to the girl.. "good idea didi" said chaya and they both left from there happily..

shyaam looked at his wife with full of pride, "today I felt like dancing with our daughter maya" said shyaam with moist eyes, his wife cane near him and wiped his tears, if these are tears of joy then its okay, said her smiling...

kavya and chaya made special dishes for the family and served them.. everyone was happy and enjoying, they ate while playing antakshri and had lots of fun..

night time

kavya helped chaya in arranging the matresses for sleep on the terrace, while singing their favourite songs.. shyaam who was watching this from a distance smiled and continued repairing his table fan.

shyaams wife came with a glasses of milk and handed over to kavya chaya and the last glass for shyaam and sat beside him admiring the girls.

"kavya has completed our incomplete family" said her

shyaam noded positively with a smile "nazar utaarlena dono ki" said shyaam to his wife, making her smile..

Midnight,

everyone was asleep, kavya changed her sides and looked at the full moon... trying to find answers of her questions..

" where did you go Adhi?" asked her, she picked out the mangalsutra kept below her pillow and stared at her, I dont even remember you making me wear it" sobbed kavya silently.

and drifted off to sleep.. again the same old dream of all the flashbacks her parents their behaviour, shubham, villagers, adhi jhumki Mrs sahani adhi's mother, adhi declaring her as his wife, and then that noises and adhi leaving her and never returned back, leaving her crying alone when she was woken up by shyaam "kavya beta wake up, you are again seeing that night mare" said shyaam shaking her

kavya woke up and realised that it was a dream, she sat silently while tears rolled down her cheeks .. "kavya beta till when will you hide your pain, its okay move on go and continue your studies, accomplish your dream and forget everything like a bad dream" suggested shyaam recalling the incident when he return to adhi's home and was kicked out by his father and he gave him a last warning that if he is seen again near his house he will see his familiy's and kavya's dead bodies..

" kaaka if you and kaki were not there I dont know where would I go" said kavya, shyaam handed over a bus ticket to her IAS campus, "We wish you to resume your studies" said shyaam blessing her.. shyaam's wife came and sat beside kavya " kavya you gave us so much memories, you have fulfilled our deceased daughter's absence, we wanted to see her become an IAS too.. if you for a second considered us as parents do it for our sake complete you studies, do what our maya couldnt do" said kaaki with hopefull tears in her eyes, kavya nodded positively, "I will kaaki, you people loved me which my parents never did, I will do it for Maya didi for my kaka kaki" said a determined kavya..

shyaam, his wife and chaya waved at kavya while she looked out of the bus window smiling.. she took a deep breath while feeling nervous for returning to somewhere she left in the middle.

she remember shyaam and his wife telling her about their daughter who was an IAS aspirant and couldn't clear it even in her last attempt and did suicide due to depression,

she believed the people who gave her roof to live, love to heal and so many memories to smile deserves to get their wish fulifilled.

"let what ever happen, this kavya Bansal wont give up" she mumbled to her self.. she realised that getting a new family and love has given her new hopes which she never had..

what will happen now? where was adhi? why didnt he return..

kavya reached the campus, dragged her little suitcase and remembered the first day she entered with Adhi.. she approached directly to Mrs Sahani's cabin who was surprised to see her back, she welcomed her with open arms and seeing the sindoor in her hair line she assumed she was now married to shubh who a day before taking her claimed as his wife. "Well finally you have convinced your stubburn husband for IAS" said sahani patting her back, kavya didnt correct sahani as she recalled there was no proof that she is married to adhi except for her memory of him telling her, Mrs sahani gave her room keys back and new time table.. kavya thanked her and proceeded towards the room through the corridor where jhumki jumled on her in excitement "kavya kavya where have you been yaar, I missed you so much"said khumki clinging to her, kavya smiled at her ..."ohh my my look at your leg its all good now" said jhumki inspecting her from top to bottom, "ohhoo sindoor? where is jijaji"teased her making kavya blush,

kavya wanted to tell her only left friend about adhi and her marriage but before she could open her mouth, her eyes fell on Adhi who stood in front of her holding his books.. "Adhi" mumbled kavya in shock and surprise as well.. her eyes welled up with tears and she called his name "Adhi" with lots of emotions but to her dismay..adhi walked pass her without any reaction.. breaking kavya into pieces.. "Adhi" escaped from her lips with pain.. jhumki placed her hand on kavya's shoulder, "Kavya its ok, now you are married to someone else let adhi be away, good for you and him as well" concluded jhumki.. kavya couldnt speak a word and fell down on the floor...

she opened her eyes and found herself in her room.. this time tbere was no adhi as he used to be when ever she was in trouble.. Kavya felt a sharp pain and regretted coming back to campus to witness adhi ignoring her...

just then her phone rang it was Shyaam... she picked it up immediately crying.. shyaam got worried and enquired about the reason... she said everything what happened sobbing unconsolably.. so did shyaam and kaki on the other side of the call listening to her over speaker..

weeks months passed by and finally came the last day of training.. everyone was happy to have completed their training..

"haan kaka all done and completed we are just waitidng for our postings then we will leave" said kavya over call to shyaam who was very proud of her....

kavya packed her bag and arranged all her belongings.. that is when she found her mangalsutra... she looked at it and with out a second thought went near their campus well and threw it away... she turned to return but saw adhi standing at a little distance, she smiled at him.. "Adhi good that you met me here only I was searching for you, wanted to convey thanx to you for filling sindoor this mangalsutra you have unknowingly gave me freedom from shubham and my family, because of you I found true relations kaka kaki and a lit sis too, I realised it lately you were a blessing in disguise, now I dont have any restrictions any one to stop me nor need any permission, I am kavya and only kavya now.. thanks for disowning me " said kavya and left from there while adhi stood there without a word..
