God has been every kind. The year has begun on an extremely good note and I hope the trend continues till the end of the year and beyond that.

Q: Your role in Eklavya?
Eklavya is a contemporary drama that seeks to examine whether what happened with Eklavya in Mahabharata was right or wrong. I play the character of Eklavya, albeit with a contemporary touch. It's a complex role with snatches from the past and mythology woven into the present context.

Q: It's been a long time since you played a rustic, rural character. Recently you had a spate of urbanised performances in KANK and Baabul?
It was refreshing to do such a rustic role after Paheli. But trust me, it was a pain to stick a false moustache and beard everyday! (laughs)

Q: On Nishabd...
It's an amazing film; one of the most interesting characters I have got to play till date and it was great interacting with Jiah Khan who plays such a complex role in her debut film itself.
