I haven't watched katha in a month myself. apparently viaan found out vanya is his sister in the latest episode. otherwise, nothing much has happened in the drama as far as I can tell. I have switched over to watching titli but I find star plus airing 7 days a week bit too much. so I am not able to keep up with the episodes.

How's Titli? I haven't watched it.

I am not able to keep up as it airs 7 days a week. so I missed a few weeks in between and just saw the last episode. it is not bad for time pass

Are we watching barsatein? I feel that I have lost interest in most shows as I feel disconnected with what they show.

I never got around to watching that either.

I am thinking of watching PK drama sirf tum but not finding the time to even check out. looks like a fun roasting type drama. lets see.

otherwise, only drama I am enjoying is 'mere ban jao'

I watched 2 eps of Barsatein. It's a good time pass. Old background music being used in the show gives me old vibes but it has a nice flow. You can see that it will be a beautiful and destructive love story. In real life, I would stay away from the ML but can watch the show. Gimme the romance and the drama🤣

Actually I have been watching Barsatein. I thought I would check this out now itself since most Sony serials are good in the beginning, and then they just transform into boring serials. 😭 But it has been a pleasant surprise in my opinion; I found the dialogues to be crisp and the pace to be quite fast (perhaps because it's supposed to be flashbacks now?). I am so surprised that the romance angle between both the leads has been established so quickly, considering they are also boss and employee (I would expect more formality and awkwardness).

And like you, I also think the ML is a jerk 🤣 But surprisingly he adds a lot of humour to the show, so the episodes are funny for now. But guess what? I just found out today that the show is produced by Ekta Kapoor, and now I am scared about how the show is going to proceed. 😭 😂

I still really like KA but the slow pacing of the show can get a bit irritating to be honest.

Also Mango, I think you will enjoy the outfits that the FL wears to the office! They are kind of Indo-western (mostly sarees and jewellry, but with a modern touch I would say).

Lately, I realised that I am not able to stick to dramas, probably because they get boring eventually. I was rewatching a few episodes from the Turkish drama Siyah Beyaz Ask yesterday, and realised how I was so into it when I watched it a few years ago for the first time; the intensity, music, acting is just soo good. Same with Crash Landing On You (K-drama). I miss being so involved and intrigued in a drama. 😭 😭

I agree yaar. I remember I used to be so obsessed with the show in the beginning, because they seemed to introduce some darker elements of human behaviour in this serial. Don't get me wrong; I still think KA is better than other current serials. But now it's a completely different show from what it used to be (even story wise).

Earlier, DTs used to fly away because the serial touched on some controversial topics, so we spent a lot of time talking about it. But now there isn't much to discuss about?

I did feel that it was an EK show. Thanks for confirming it. Don't worry....EK can also come up with good products. I like her Web series which I have watched. She also produced YHM which was a fab show until the time slot change. As for Kushal, in his defence, I do think that he knows how to select shows which do not bring his weaknesses to the fore. I have no issue with him, and Shivangi is one FL whom I really like. She reminds of Jennifer Winget at times. Both are really beautiful, excel in vulnerable scenes but their strength of character always shines through.

As for KA, I really like it when I watch it without expectations but at times I get fed up of the sugar overdose. I know what Adnan and Aditi are capable of and I feel that their talent are being wasted in this show. Something must have changed in the background. Too many inconsistencies with the initial eps of the show.
