I remember that sequence from 'Tum Bin'...it was so simple yet beautifully done. The girl is struggling to move on and she feels the loss of her fiancee deeply..she visualises him and he makes her realise that is ok for her to move on, that it will make him happy to see her happy again and it is kind of a final goodbye from him to her. If they do it like that it will be a beautiful way for Katha to finally move on from Adi.
I would love to see something like that too but lets see what makers want to show. However I loved that scene from movie , you described it better. It had similar scenario of girl not moving on after her fiancee's loss and how she let go finally.
Because from the last few episodes it has become obvious that her fear for Aarav getting affected by a new person in their lives is secondary. The real reason she is holding back is her fear of betraying Adi. She and Adi were the real deal and its not easy for her to let go of the memory of that. And that is the reason she is blocking her feelings for Viaan constantly. Today while talking with Kavitha she again said that VIaan is a very good person but she has had her share of love to last this life time.
@bold - yes she says all the time.. she lived her share of love and there is no place to love anymore.thats what stopping her from acknowledging that she already has a place for Viaan.
There is guilt to love again, there is grief for the loss, there is fear to step out of her safe little world with just Aarav and her in it, there is anxiety to step into Viaan's world...his mom's expectations, whether she will be able to give him the love he deserves. Staying where she is now keeps her from stepping out of her coccon into a world of uncertainty. From the brief glimpses we get when she lets her guard down, she actually revels in his goodness, in the purity of his feelings... 'baccha jaisa dil' like she once reflected, she enjoys his company and he makes her laugh. Left unguarded her heart could make way for Viaan by and by.
I hope they use the Adi hallucination sequence for her to let go...and before she sees Batman and Robin. She should allow Viaan in her life not for Aarav but for herself.
As you can see I am in a generous mood cause Viaan did not stare too much today, he kept his distance and did not get in her way at all. Even the Rooh part he did very beautifully without putting her in the spot or making her feel awkward. Now if only the makers would keep him low key and let this be Katha's journey towards him.
BTW Kavita is hand down the most sorted and balanced character in this show...I love her attitude. When the time comes she will put her husband, Teji and Reet all in their appropriate place with their skewed thinking and biases. Dodo is a good sounding board for Katha too but a bit over the top I feel.
Kavita is like a mother figure to Katha, She told her exactly same thing as her mother would have said. She was first person to accept her back and be by her side.
Aarav cares deeply for Viaan as Robin...remains to be seen how he will react once he knows this is Viaan. Kids can be unpredictable that way...but they don't hold grudges and are easily forgiving.
I feel like there was a reason for batman - robin conversation today. Aarav asked him what if child does not accept him now he knows that Viaan wants to really accept him as his own. May be there would be slight hesitation but I think there bond will push katha more for this alliance after she discovers her own feelings.
PS...its nice to finally take a break from ranting🤣
Lo aaj humne rant na kia
