Car kharab hone ke jagah they could have made them stay at lonavla overnight to complete designs. Atleast that could have made a little sense.

May be they changed him so much to show how sorry he is for that proposal and to make him repent from the depth of his heart otherwise people would not accept him. This is done to fit in indian cultural context. All that "paap" dialogues were also exclusively done for indian audience.

Viaan in og was apologetic but definitely not feeling guilty to this extent. Thats why he also retained his basic traits or flaws of rudeness, arrogance, selfish to some extent. He loved fl deeply but still couldn't change himself completely. As much as their fights kept coming up because of that night, it was also because of the nature of both characters.

Here they have completely reformed viaan. Now I wonder what would be the future tracks once they get together.

I saw the OG back when it aired so I don't remember all the scenes exactly.

I might be in the minority but I actually love what they've done with Viaan's character. In all the other versions, I never truly felt that the ML changed or was sorry. But in this version, I love how the guilt has been eating Viaan up and that he is truly contemplating his choices, and prejudices that he's grown up with. He's becoming not only a better person, but a person who actually wants to move on from the shambles of his past and make peace. The childish way in which he ate, or even struggled to tell Katha that he was hungry was endearing because I don't think Viaan ever got to be a child. The way he keeps his distance from Katha and doesn't speak unless necessary is so so beautiful because we're so used to seeing leads pin the FL or manhandle each other with zero concept of space and that this is another person not their property. I like that Viaan isn't an angry, arrogant ML but a very normal guy who has a lot of anger and loneliness simmered within him due to his experiences.

The way I see it, I never found Viaan arrogant. He takes pride in his work and is confident about what he does and is. He was blunt and I love that he's learning to restrain himself a little bit, and learning to communicate with people more.

All in all, I am loving the development of Viaan's character.

Yes, I agree with you. I also like this viaan more than og.

All the other versions viaan were not like this viaan tbh, in terms of character development this viaan can be marked 10/10.

I was just wondering how they will bring their future fights if viaan is completely reformed.😆
