Joydeep to do cameo in Mahabharat
Manav Vij, who plays Joydeep in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, will be doing a cameo in Ekta's Kahaani Hamaaray Mahabhaaraat Ki. He will be playing the role of Salva Naresh.
Talking about his role, he says, "This role is opposite Amba (Rakshanda Khan). The king Salva Naresh is in love with Amba and she is also involved with him. But he has a fight with Bhishma who takes Amba away from him. He realizes his mistake later on and regrets it. But it is of no use as it is too late by then."
Manav reveals that somebody else had shot a few scenes of this character earlier. But he ran away and there was nobody to shoot for this character. "I was then called and asked whether I would do it and I said yes because it was a matter of only 4-5 days. And the makers thanked me for this."
Manav adds that he wouldn't do mythological shows anymore. He would do only that kind of films.
The actor is also seen in Kis Desh Mein…and is doing Punjabi films.
