Shubhangi -- splendid performance

I must say, I must admit today I finally can say I truly loved Shubhangi's performance. She was never so bad in the beginning of the show, but viewing today's episode she definitely has improved tremendously, the pain that Kasturi felt, the helplessness, the feeling of heart breaking betrayal, the pressure of her family and their ruined reputation, all in all It was well portrayed by Shubhangi.

I especially loved the last scene where she realizes Robbie's ring is still on her finger, as memories flood her mind, the expressions of pain and ache on her face are splendid. Slowly, but steadily she has climbed the ladder towards better and improved acting.

PS: Is it just me, or does Shubhangi sometimes resemble Aamaa Shariff not only in looks, but at times in acting as well? (No no I'm not comparing the two, I just somehow feel there's this slight resemblence in the two, I don't know why)😕

What did you guys think of Kasturi's performance today? Besides the fantastic performances by Karan, Jatin, Rupa etc etc

yeah subhanghi has improved a lot and i must say she is just mindblowing in emotional scenes..

in today's epi her facial expressions and her eyes emoted so well how her heart is bleeding and wat pain she is going through..

shubanghi was looking really gorgeous esp in the end scene and acting wise she was superb.... 👏 👏

yeah i agree, initially, kasturi's acting was overshadowed by karan and jatin's awesome performances. And also rupa ganguly's performance too... But Kasturi has improved so much that today one can actually feel wat she is going thro....
Again i give full marks to the director for etching out such a beautiful scene when kasturi realizes abt the ring and wen she actually tries to take the ring. I was praying tat ring shud not come out of the finger.

Regarding SA's performance, as I stated in another thread, she has been improving steadily with each episode. She's been fabulous since this entire ordeal began. Earlier on when the show began, she wasn't horrible but I wasn't feeling her in terms of acting. But I think being surrounded by such fabulous actors like Rupa and Sheeba, and also getting an handle on the character, she has really blossomed as an actor.

I liked her from my first glance as palchin in KZK. We could see her helplessness today portrayed very well. Superb 👏 👏 👏

As for acting, she's improving .. But I am with Skylar here.. She can still do wonders and I am sure that with her constant hardwork, she'd be on the top shortly..

There is a thing called natural acting.. For people like Roopa, Jatin and Karan.. I feel as if it comes almost naturally to them.. My sister has often said to me while watching the show that Kasturi looks the best and emotes the best once she's quiet!! Her silent emotions portray out well as compared to when she narrates dialogues and I do agree with her to some extent. But that's my personal POV. But I think she's a lovely girl and I enjoy her a lot 😳 ~

Perfect word Khyatee, her heart was 'bleeding'. I agree with you, Shubhangi was looking extremely pretty, she looks beautiful in sarees and light make-up. 😛 Not to forget Kasturi -- the character's beauty enhances it even more.

Definitely, one can now really feel what Kasturi is going through. Aah, how can we forget the director, he does a fantastic scene every single time without dissapointment, I have to applaud him for two scenes today, one was the rehearsal scene with Robbie and the last one with Kasturi breaking down.👏Because of the way the scenes are portrayed, you tend to like the scenes even more. Is there an award for best director on television awards? If there is, he surely deserves it!😛

Aah, that's it 'blossomed as an actor' she definitely has. It shows she is constantly working harder on her performances, and she is making a positive impression and how. When an actor is impressive, somehow even the most pathetic/heart wrenching scenes somehow become enjoyable in a way.
