Families Unite vs Split Ekta Style

The way things are being portrayed in Kasturi these days I am beginning to wonder if the writers have a handle on any form of reality. I doubt it because in instances such as these, when a family is hurt and ashamed like Kasturi's has been, rather than being split apart by the likes of Alka, they should be united as a front to help each other get over this ugly period in their lives. Its only todays news and tomorrow, someone else will be in the news and they will be forgotten about. Is it really worth it for Kasturi's parents to resort to a Romeo and Juliet sort of scene with taking the poison and her grandfather disowning her for the first thing she has done wrong. Why doesn't anyone ask any questions or try to figure what really happened. Her sisters know what the relationship was like and so does Tanu. How can they all just stand there and watch the family being ripped apart Ekta style!!!!
