next day it was Saturday morning around 8am:
robbie sabarwal bed room:
robbie was hugging his pillow and lying upside down.the time he went to bed he was continuously getting disturbed by the little girl in his dream ,who gave the excellency medal to him .finally he woke up from the sleep.with out opening his eyes he tried to bring back her innocent face in his mind.he put his hand under the pillow and searched for the thing which he kept yesterday.when he got it he took it out,he opened his eyes and looked at it.it was Indraprastha University excellency medal !!
'i do not got a medal either in school days or in college days.that too for academic excellency😲...no way...😊'the thought brought a smile on his face.he stared at the medal.he could see the innocent face of that girl in it.' who is she? why i am so much attracted towards her? among thousands of girls what is special in her ? why i could not control my self ? i am not a adolescent boy to get infatuated and she is not the first girl whom i met, then why i am impressed with that little girl?.she is very much younger than me,may be 6 to 7 years younger.so far i have moved with ladies more or less of my age. but now what is wrong with me 😕...'he wondered.
i don't even remember her name,i can only recollect that she is second year chemical engineering student. i have to wait till monday, two more days...' he calculated the hours left for monday in his head.
alana:'robbie...enough of sleeping get up...'she came in with tea tray.robbie immediately hid the medal under the pillow ,closed his eyes and started pretending as if he was in sound sleep.alana is robbie's elder sister,yet to marry.in fact has no interest in marriage.
alana:'robbie...utto...'
robbie:'dii...aur thodi thayr sonay tho na...'he said without opening his eyes.
alana:'omg...do you know what is the time now?...'
robbie:'dii...please...'he said hugging the pillow tightly.
alana:'...aaj shaniwaar hai. get ready and come down for pooja...'she gave the tea to him.
robbie:'teek hai...'he got up hesitantly and took the tea cup from her.
chawala house,kasturi's bed room:
kasturi was in sound sleep.
kiran:'kasturi...utto...'she pulled her blanket.
kasturi:'please dii...aur thodi thayr sonay tho na...'she pulled the blanket and covered herself from head to foot.
kiran:'kasturi...university jaanay may late ho ja wo gee...utto...'she shook her.
kasturi:'wofo...dii...aaj chutti hai...'she pushed the blanket from her face and found non in the room.she suddenly got up with shock and sat on the bed.she started sweating.
kasturi:'di...dii...diii...😭'she screamed and looked around.kiran was not there.her scream turned in to cry.she put her hand under the pillow in hurry and took out kiran's photo, looked at the smiling kiran in the photo.
kasturi:'diii....😭'she wiped her tears.
kasturi:'thum nay issa kyun kiya?😭...ek baar bhee may ray baaray mai nahee socha?😭....socha ho tho thum issa kabhee nahee karthee... kabhee nahee...😭'she hugged the photo and winced.
ajay:'kasturi....'he entered calling her.kasturi immediately wiped her face and hid kiran's photo under the pillow.ajay is kasturi's elder brother.he is elder to kiran too.he is a civil engineer by profession.
kasturi:'ji bhaiya...😊'she tried to smile at him.
ajay:'aaj shaniwaar hai.jal thee say chai peelo aur thayaar ho jawo. hamai mandir janahai...' he came in with tea cup.
kasturi:'teek hai ...'she took the tea from him.
monday:
most awaiting day for robbie sabarwal.he killed more than 48 hours to reach this day.around 10 am, robbie was in his office and his secretary anitha was reading his schedule.
anitha:'meeting with the bombay client at 10:30 am,..'
robbie:' ummm hummm...'he nodded his head.
anitha:'rehearsal for the up coming concert from 1 to 3 pm...'
robbie:'then...' he was keen about his 4pm appointment
anitha:'coffee with your friend rama at 4pm...'
robbie:'cancel that...'he said instantly.
anitha:'tho...sushma kay saath fix kar dthon...😃'
robbie:'😡...'he raised his head and gave an angry look.
anitha:'chaar bajay tho mai bhee free huon😛😳.....'
robbie:😡
anitha:'sorry sir...' she went out with long face
exactly 4pm robbie parked his car in the parking area of Indraprastha University.it is the month of january.the climate in delhi was very chill.robbie step down from his car and slammed the door.
he was wearing white jeans and white full sleeve shirt.over the shirt he wore a sleeveless , close neck crimson red plain sweater, around his neck there was a long white muffler.he pulled the muffler from his neck and cover the lower part of his face with it.he don't want to show his identity and create disturbance in the university.first time in his life he regretted to be a celebrity.he put his hands in his jeans pockets and slowly stepped ahead the university entrance gate.
kasturi and shivani came out of the cafeteria.kasturi was wearing a long baby pink skirt and long matching blouse,over that sky blue full sleeve sweater.she was holding her books close to her chest with her left hand and licking choco bar ice candy from her right hand.
shivani:'kasturi you are unbelievable...ithnee sarthee mai ice candy...?'
kasturi:'i like to...😃'she said while licking the dripping side of the candy just like a school girl.
shivani:'weird taste...'she shrank her face and teased her.
both were walking towards the gate to exit .kasturi was concentraing on her ice candy. robbie noticed kasturi from the distance.soon his blood rushed from his toe to head ...head to toe...and created a feeling of roller coaster emotion.he took his hand from his pocket.he slowly pulled down the muffler and uncoverd his face.
kasturi:' thum...😛'she rushed to him with her eyes wide open.
shivani:' robbie sabarwal...😲' she never expected.
robbie:'hi...😊'he tried to speak. his face became as bright as thousand 1000watt light.he could not stop staring at her.he hoocked on to her innocent face and ocean blue eyes.
kasturi:' hi....😃'she looked left and right side of herself,her left hand holding books and in right hand dripping ice candy.she quickly bit a big part of the candy and remaining gave it to shivani by force.
shivani:'shock...😲'
kasturi extended her right hand to him.he looked at her hand with a smile.
kasturi:'sorry...'she said looking at her dirty hand with choco bar sticking here and there.she immediately tried to wipe it on her skirt.before she could wipe robbie put forth his hand and hold her palm.
robbie: 'hi...😃' he grinned at her.his voice got chocked.their hold extended for a minute with no speech.kasturi could feel the warmness of his hand while robbie could feel the chillness of her hand.both the palms were in opposite temperature created a wonderful sensation.
before he could speak or act kasturi pulled back her hand.
kasturi:'...auto...'she stopped a passed by auto and rushed in.shivani was completely confused.
shivani:'...k..a..s..t..u..r..i...😕'she ran behind her shouting and jumped in to the auto.the auto moved.
' K..A..S..T..U..R..I' robbie recorded her name in his mind.
shivani:'what the hell you are doing?😡....'she threw the half eaten candy out side the auto.
shivani:'kasturi... you gone crazy.because of you second time i missed the chance of getting autograph from robbie sabarwal...kith na acha moka tha...ufff...'
kasturi:'shiv..i did not call you...'she said with out any expression,as if nothing happened.
shivani:'i know... idiot...😡' she yelled at her.
shivani:' doesn't matter...patha na hee wo kisay doondthay huway yahaan aaya tha? mai patha lagawoon gi aur uss ki autograph ek dhin zaroon loongee...'she challenged to kasturi.kasturi gave a sickning smile at her.
robbie stood still looking at the auto slowly dis appearing from his sight..he took the muffler and covered his face again.' why i am behaving as crazy as a teenager????' he wondered.
