Even I remember the part. He could have gone to any length for Sneha that was Rishab Bajaj.
I liked how RB manipulated that wicked Komolika to save Sneha.
Thanks,Komolika is wicked but Rishab Bajaj can be much much more than her when needed
Chapter 7 – Karma comes back to bite you
“Doctor there must be some mistake, aap ek baar sari reports confirm kijiye agar nahin to Basu family main kisika match kar sakta hai. Aap try to kijiye.”
“Mr bajaj maine saare ke sare reports confirm kiye hain none of them are a match. Inki family main kuch logo ka match hota hain but sare conditions feasible nahin hain. We need to keep looking”
“Mr Basu please there is some mistake let us do this one more time this is not possible”

“Mrs basu main kya kar sakta hoon yeh aap log dekh chuke hain, shayad bhul gaye honge main yaad dilao. Aapke ghamand ki neev kya hain main jaanta hoon hilane main waqt nahn lagega.” And he looked straight at Komolika standing behind them.

After sometime in doctor’s cabin and even after a second time the test came negative and they had no other option but to look for donor and time was running out.
“Is that enough for you, we are leaving. But you know what I am happy we did this inhe aise hara hua haath phaiwale hue dekhneka mauka mila.” Mohini Basu

“Mr and Mrs Bajaj we are trying to find donor we need someone by the blood group of b-ve. Apki family ya relation main agar kisika ka hain”
“Ek min B- yeh yeh to Kukki ka blood group hain.” MrBajaj
“But no” Bajaj and Prerna both said at once.
“nahin Kukki abhi bachi hain uske test hi nahin honge to transplant ka sawal hi nahin hota hain” Prerna
“Mr & Mrs Bajaj maybe we should try once, I mean operation main itna risk nahin hain, Kukki is a healthy kid her liver will grow back that is if she is a match. Let’s do one thing why don’t we get her tested by then if we get some other match then great otherwise, we have to make a decision and it will give you some time.”
“Meri bachi bol nahin sakti thi kuch din pehle tak ab ja kar she is better and you are saying phir se. No way. Nahin Mr Bajaj yeh main nahin agree karungi. Kabhi nahin. Ho sakta hain reports ko kisine manipulate kiya hoon ho sakta hain Komolika ne jo bhi hoon aap dobara sare test karwaye jo karna hain kijiye par Kukki nahin.”
“There is no manipulation Prerna, reports are correct. Anurag is not a match and we are not able to find one and “
“And what ek bachi already meri main dono ko kaise,jyada risk nahin hain par risk hain na.”

“Some time for what. Kukki is small and she might not be able to handle this.”
“Yes, you are right maybe we should keep looking for donor.”
“That is the final decision we will keep looking for a donor.” Mr Bajaj nodded as he knew Prerna was being emotional but this seemed the most practical thing if Kuki was a match, she is healthy and she will also be fine yes, she will be hurt but it is important for Sneha’s life. He knew he had to make a choice but how the hell was he supposed to choose and time was running out. His guilt of being responsible for doing all this become even more after he had found out about Kukki being a match. Mr Basu said it correctly that karma comes back to bit you in the worst way possible. For her daughter he had done all this and now his daughters and prerna might be paying the price.
He came to Prerna’s room and found Kukki there alone.
“Aap yahan kya kar rahin hain. Mumma kaha hain?”
“Tests? Hum Sneha se kab milenge and why is it that I cannot see her, Who mere liye hi to aai hain.” MR Bajaj looked at her confused.”Dekhiye aap papa aur aapki Mrs Bajaj mumma aap log to pehle se hi hoto the ek bar phir se ban gaye aapki promotion hui kya nahin na. “Haan jab mumma aur aapki fight hogi to teams bana lijjiyega and mumma and I will win but in any other case we are Bajaj sisters and we will always be one team and give everyone our best fight. I will make her very strong.” And Mr bajaj laughed.
“Aapko pata hain jab bhi aapke papa kisi problem main hote hain aap papa ke sare problem solve kar deti hoon. Aap hamesha se papa ki angel thi?”

“Actually, thi chalega aapki angel bante bante thak gayi hoon and it sounds childish I am big now no I want to be your buddy yes buddy friends ok and you can make Sneha your angel. Use thoda time lagega main sab sikha dungi. Ok”and did a thumbs up
“ok” and with that Mr Bajaj made the decision or Kukki made the decision for her sister and he took her to the doctor.
“Ok kukki now I want to hear carefully. Aapko pata hain Sneha is sick bcoz one of her parts is not working and we need to replace it. Like your toy batteries when they expire, we replace it. Now we need new batteries and Doctor is saying that it might match with yours, na mera na mumma ka sirf aapka” He was almost fumbling while saying it.
“Of course, it will match dekha mera logic correct thana” and Mr Bajaj smiled.
“So they need to take some tests and then if necessary they will take some out from your body and give to Sneha, now it might hurt you for some days and it might get scary but papa mumma rahenge aapke saath I promise okay”
“Papa” and then she showed her muscles and Mr Bajaj smiled and the doctor started their procedure.
Prerna came back to the room and found Kukki missing.
“Kukki ghar chali gayi hain. Maine bhej diya use.Main aapko batane aaya tha ki donor mil gaya hain. They are taking Sneha into surgery.”
“Really?
“Lekin ab aap rest kijiye, aapko apna dhyan rakhna hain na” Prerna was so happy that she didn’t argue took the meds “Dekha maine bola thana kuch ho jayega. Sab theek ho jayega Kukki Sneha sab” and slept. Mr Bajaj didn’t want her to ask who it was as he didn’t have the strength to lie to her face and he couldn’t tell the truth and fight with her right now.
Kukki was taken into Surgery and so was Sneha. Rishab Bajaj was sitting outside the OT on the chair head between his hands when Mr Mehra came and sat next to him.
“Sir Coffee?”
“Nahin. I took the right decision right. Prerna nahin manti who kabhi nahin manti and time was running out. I took the right decision.”
“Mujhe samjha rahin hain ya apne aap ko?”
“Agar kuch ho gaya in dono ko main Prerna ko kya jawab dunga? Main khud ko kya jawab dunga”
“Sahi ya galat to nahin malum par yeh pata hain They will be fine; they are the Bajaj’s they are made strong by birth and just like me, they all will be very proud of you sir” It brought a faint smile on his face.
“Please have something you need your strength.” And Mr Bajaj took the glass of coffee.
After some hours Prerna woke up and went to the doctor’s cabin to ask about the operation.
“Mrs Bajaj ap kyun uthi. Kukki aur Sneha are fine perfectly fine and we will shift them to ICU very soon.”
“What?”
“The transplant went perfectly fine and Mr Bajaj hain kukki ke saath. Kukki’s liver was a perfect match and Sneha is responding well to it. Both of their liver will grow in some days to full form I must say you have two very strong daughters.” Prerna legs gave away with the shock and Doctor guided him to the nearest chair. She was taken into the ICU and she found Mr Bajaj sound asleep next to Kukki. She went near him and touched his head. Mr Bajaj woke up and looked straight at Prerna and she looked at him with anger in her eyes. Then she went near where Mr Bajaj was sitting before and sat next to Kukki and took her hand in hers. She had not said anything and Mr Bajaj didn’t know what to say and went out of the room. He knew Prerna will not like this decision to do it all without informing her but he did what had to be done. He wished that Prerna had shouted at him done anything but her silence was unexpected and it was killing him.

I liked how Rishabh explained the entire thing to Kukki and she is such a brave child to have gone ahead with this. She loves her sister a lot. ❤️
Prerna has all rights to be mad at Rishabh because despite her saying no for it he had gone ahead with the operation. Now it will be interesting to see how he will manofy her
I am soo sorry I am late. I was supposed to read it last night but I was so sleepy after formating an update. But I am here after reading not just 1 buy 2 updates.. no cliff hanger for me 😛
Chapter 6
Moloy Basu surprised me a lot. I wasn't expecting anything like this from any member of Basu Family. Would be interesting to know why he is such an exception in the entire family. I mean he was happy when Bajaj told them about Sneha's birth.
Now about about Bajaj going to Anurag for donor match. When I read for the first time it didn't settle down well because as a reader we already have a few expectations and it can over ride a writer's pov. Words can be interpreted differently. Also I haven't seen S1 so I can't imagine Bajaj-Sneha relationship. I have not created any liking for Rishabh-Sneha relationship from the show yet because they didn't show anything and it will be very hard to overpower Kukki-Rishabh because their bonding was the best till date in the show. In fact I liked grown up Kukki (uptil now) in the show more than Sneha. So these prejudices also lead to me thinking that why did he even go to Basus.
But after reading the following conversations where you have explained your thought process I read it again with your pov as a writer in my mind. And then I understood that you did this to show how and to what extent he can go when it comes to his family. He kept Bajaj at the backfoot and let Risbabh take over in that moment for his little girl. Perspective changed as I stepped into your shoes.
He even manipulated Komolika. I always imagine Hina Khan wali komolika when I read yours:)
As mentioned as guess in my last comment fortunately Anurag didn't end being a match. Agar wo save karta Bajaj ki newborn ko to faltoo mein ehsaab ho jata uska.. glad aisa kuch nahi hua.
Now I have to read the next one.. though I would loved for Bajaj to be the match but Kukki it is, it seems..
