Chain Reaction

I have been thinking about this lately, and so just wanted to share.

Everybody says Komo was the biggest villain in AnuPre love story, but personally after watching KZK2 till now, I feel not Komo, but it was Anurag's own mother Mohini Basu who was the biggest villain in AnuPre love story. This is because the villains entered AnuPre's lives, in a chain reaction sort of manner.

1) Everything started with Mohini Basu. She brought Naveen in BasuBari who acted basically like a catalyst for the entry of the next and possibly the biggest villain Komo.

2) Komo in turn introduced the next villian in AnuPre's lives - Bajaj... though for me now, Bajaj is no longer a villian. He has been redeemed.😳😳☺️❤️

So, I feel, had Mohini Basu been of a different nature, had the ability to see through Naveen's cunningness, and not be easily manipulated by the sugar-coating words of him, then probably the story of KZK2 had been different. She was just blind to Naveen. And this is the problem with Mohini Basu, she is always the first one to find faults in any other person and point fingers at him/her, but when it comes to Basus (any of her immediate and distant family members) she continues to live under this illusion that they all are perfect and saint-like. I feel it is precisely because of this disgusting habit of hers, that she couldn't see through her very own brother. (Naveen)

But, what is more tragic is, now that Anurag feels guilty for betraying Prerna and is probably trying his best to shake off this burden of guilt that he is carrying around with himself (though I think, he will never be able to come out of it, this is something which will haunt him forever), I think that it's high time, that he just sits quietly alone, and try to reflect on his relationship with Pre. 🤔🤔I would be really happy if a scene is being shown as, that even though Anurag understands what is done cannot be undone, he recollects his relationship memories with Prerna, and comes to terms with the fact that it was not any outside person, but an inside person only, who actually is indirectly responsible for all these later creations of misunderstandings between him and Prerna. Had he realized this by now, and shared it with his mother, then probably in the current scenario, not only him, his mother too would have repented for unknowningly destroying the very thing she always yearned her. (her favourite Onu's happiness).😔

AnuPre didn't have to look outside for enemies. They had an enemy within their close circle only (Mohini Basu) who wrecked havoc in their lives. There is an African proverb which comes to my mind when I think of this- "If there is no enemy within, the enemy outside can do us no harm."👍🏼

Oh yes we knew since the beginning that Mohini Basu will be the long term villain in Anurag and Prerna’s life.. and thats something Anurag keep brushing under the carpet..

Post Navin’s revelation, Mohini was whitewashed by Anurag kyunki iski Maa bholi hain.. Even Moloy didnt say anything.. not only blackmailing was involved but she nearly ruined Pre’s life..

Pre was mentally abused and insulted by all three Basus’ women on a daily basis when she re entered BB.. Anurag stood there and watched her getting insulted and never said a word..

His excuse: Oh Komo shouldnt know I still love Pre..

They conspired and sent Pre to Jail.. Pre was dragged out of BB and again he just stood their quietly and this time he added some of his wisdoms as well, guda guddi ka khel..

Post Komo’s exposure, Mohini still prefer komo over Pre doesnt matter if she tried to kill her or would have sent her to old age ashram..

Mohini is responsible for sending Prerna to Mr Bajaj and she had no choice but to ask him deal..

Who screamed in the court room: Prerna kuch karo!! Thats when Pre run to Bajaj Mansion and accepted the deal..

Prerna has always been abused and insulted by Mohini Basu since Day 1..

I remember in S1 we had a scene where Mohini said to Sam that I was responsible for their first Kasautii.. I brought Komolika in their life..

That Mohini was redeemable but this one 🤦‍♀️

AnuPre didn't have to look outside for enemies. They had an enemy within their close circle only (Mohini Basu) who wrecked havoc in their lives. There is an African proverb which comes to my mind when I think of this- "If there is no enemy within, the enemy outside can do us no harm."

however here, I feel it's not Mohini but Anurag and Prerna themselves are enemies of their relations
lack of trust and lack of communication is their main nemesis

2. Anurag was in jail, Prerna went on to marry Bajaj to save him - didn't talk or trust Anurag or anyone .in her or Basu family.... it consumed A to an extent he was on the verge of suicide
3.Komolika .. Prerna instead of telling family members or Anurag about Sona/Komo she ignored .. she didn't tell him before hand in hospital was into "I love u.. i love you moreeeeeeee" game
4. Now Anurag instead of taking Pre in confidence and talk to her, he pushes her off the bridge and separates a new born baby n her mother .

In the above 4 scenarios ...Mohini is NOT involved .. it's Anurag and Prerna's apparent unintellectual impulsive, easy choices which wrecked their lives

If they had communication and trust between them .. they would have easily won over Komolikas Bajajs and Mohinis .. in their life ... but lack of these basic things are to be owned by themselves as the decisions and choices were made by them .. and only one made choices for two of them . that doesn't work and it is not working

Well that's why they are called star crossed lovers right? Outside aspects interfering in their relationships along with fights, betrayal, misunderstandings etc. yes mohini did bring naveen into their lives which introduced komolika. However mohini wasn't the one who forced anurag to marry komolika. Yes she was pressuring him but at the end of the day anurag basu is an adult. He is capable of making decisions for himself. He didn't have to give into komolika demands. However he did. By marrying komolika he even brought more danger into prerna live. Because after agreeing to marry her he infuriated komolika with all the pda he was showing prerna while ignoring her. This put prerna on komolika hit list even more.

Same as prerna. She didn't have to marry bajaj. He gave her a choice and she gave in just like what anurag did with Komolika. The basus are said to be the richest people. Anurag and prerna can't use their sources to get out of trouble. They can't work as a team to fix their problems. Instead they married other people and the consequences are on them and them only.

First and foremost...

About time this is accepted for everyone’s sanity...

Even though the show is badly written they do a decent/good job showing the lead couple anurag and prerna being their own kasautis. The misunderstandings between them, the lies, the mistrust, the betrayal was portrayed well in the show. Because most people know or are beginning to notice the pattern that anurag and prerna are the reasons for their own suffering not no one else. That's the definition of star crossed lovers which ekta said they are. Soulmates who can never be together because of there own actions.

Exactly...!!!!! And it's just getting on my nerves, that the Basus are shown to be rejoicing 😡😡 (family get-together, puja whatnot...😈) when Pre is fighting her battle all alone.😭😭😭.

And Anurag, toh I don't know..the less I speak of him much better.

All he is doing is, shedding crocodile tears and putting up a sorry face supposedly whenever he is feeling/remembering her. Nothing else he is being shown to do till now.👎🏼

Am glad now you probably understand how a lot of us feel about him.. thats my journey from an AnuPrian to an extreme Anti AnuPrian..

i dont have a single to want them to be together..
