Hume poocho, kya Hota hai, Bina dil ke jeeye Jaana..
This sums up anupre now.. That's exactly how they've lived for 8 long years. Without their hearts. Prerna because her heart was mercilessly ripped out of her chest by the very man she had in every single heart beat. And Anurag, because while doing so, had murdered his own heart too..
I don't know what reason the makers are going to give us for the whole #anuneprekokyunmaara, and in which direction the story will proceed there on. But today, that entire sequence in the airport is why I love these two and always will.. How beautifully broken are they? How they yearn for each other..
Anurag thinks it's impossible for Prerna to be there. Why? Does he know he has sent her far away with someone, or does he think she's dead? But he cannot deny the feeling deep in him which is insisting that she is around somewhere.. The flowing breeze seems to carry her scent, every step he takes seems to bring her closer, he can almost reach out and touch her.. And when their arms do brush, the familiarity stops them both in their tracks. That touch, so intimately familiar, so loved, desired and cherished. Neither can mistake it, surely it can be just one person in this world. Prerna instantly recognizes that touch and yearns to see that one face which has defined her life. First through the most all encompassing love, and now through boundless hatred. But here, in this place, in this city which gave her all her dreams and cruel snatched them too, where this man is so close, she yearns.. Not in her mind, not that clinical, sharp, powerful mind which has honed itself for 8 years with the sole purpose of destroying him. Not even in her heart, which was broken to pierces and has stuck itself together again, with the glue of hatred and revenge. But that tiny piece of her that was sleeping all along. Her soul. That tiny voice, deep, deep inside her, which still yearns for its mate.. Which refuses to believe he could ever cause her this grief, which is but incomplete without him. Here, in this city, when he was so close, her soul recognized its mate and cried out. Cried out so loud and so deep that she could hear it. And so could we. So palpable that it leaped out of the screen, grabbed my heart in an iron fist and squeezed a tear out of my eye.
This is them. This is their love. Damned if anything can touch it!
