I really think due to the lack of together time early on, the connection was never really made with the audience. Yes, star-crossed lovers aren’t meant to be together but there is a period of time where they are. Moments where they grow together and moments which make the audience root for them but AP2 never had that togetherness. If we didn’t get their togetherness, why would we care for their seperation! Now it’s too late because the moment she brings them together, people will think the story is over.

Regarding KZK1, I’m so sure that despite all the ridiculous twists and turns, it had more of a heart especially because the FL was truly the anchor. She wasn’t only about one other character. That’s what this Prerna needs to become!

Even 1% of self respect and self love will do... But no she will happily run back to the Basu at the first given opportunity... Who would go there after all the mental abused the 2 Basus women gave her?

They spent more time apart than together... Their friendship phase was their best time, after that it all went downhill...

There is nothing between them - NO trust, respect, communication, understanding..

No, but even I believe, an independent female protagonist who takes care of her kid and their needs, emotionally and financially would have worked.

It would have touched millions of single mothers' hearts.

But, but, CVs apparently are just interested in showing the kind of love, a bunch of people like us find tough to even consider, let aside accepting. Sigh.

You never know, but Prem might be Bajaj and Prerna's son if they ever take that route later on.

Prem 1.0 track was a complete hit in Season 1

tell me about it. I was dieheart AP fan back then. And they not only showed a bold track of a lead heroine being a single mother by choice and trying to manage society, career and baby, but also showed back in 2000s how a father can be as good a parent as a mother by showing Anurag taking full responsibility of Prem1.0 when Prerna married Bajaj. 👏 Kzk2.0 made me respect everything of kzk1.0 first five yrs. 🤗

You said it all. I wasn't a big fan of KZK 1.0 except for the character of Bajaj, but this version has made me respect the story writers for showing some very bold stuff back then and acing it and how👏Ofcourse, they were backed by the wonderful performance of the actors👍🏼
