The 21st Feb 2020 episode belonged to the trio, with special mention to Namik. From welcoming Prerna like a good host to being a maniac who is adamant in his decision to marry Prerna, Namik won our hearts as the most entertaining villain of KZK after Sanjay sir. The way he portrayed that cool badass guy pointing the gun towards cutiepie, the sarcastic Viraj pointing towards another door & telling Prerna to try it, the frustration & anger while throwing the glass down and finally the class act on the cliff, which was my favorite..... Namik has proved that it is not how long you have been in the show what matters, it is how best you lived your character is what matters. The way Viraj innocently asks Prerna on why she slapped her pati parameshwar, teased her on getting ready to marry every person that comes in her life and that subtle yet convincing change in expression from being furious to giving a psychotic laugh at Prerna when she tries to escape..... I have to say, Namik has almost managed to match up to the level of Sanjay Sir who in a similar way did win our hearts without much bang on dialogues or extra hype. Just like our leads, he did complete justice to his character only through his facial expressions and body language. And he deserves a great round of 👏for this.
It is or the first time in this whole Sonalika track, after her initial portrayal of that helpless yearning Prerna, that I could enjoy Erica’s performance wholeheartedly. From not giving two hoots to Viraj’s threats and trying to find a way to escape, to nonchalantly watching Viraj pointing the gun towards her while trying to escape in the car, the way she assertively warns Viraj to not use a word against Anurag plus the shocked expressions she gave when Viraj throws the glass down & shoots at the tyre, I have to say Erica did a good job in complementing Namik in all the duo scenes. And the result was PreVir tashans turned out to be >>>>>>>PreLika tashans. 👏 to Eri for her brilliant performance as the sassy Pre whom we had all loved from Komo1 track.
Last but not the least, Parth as Anurag..... who has now left me in a confused state on whether to continue watching the show, in case Eri is quitting the show by any chance. That much he has grown on me as an actor. Very rarely I get attracted to a celebrity because of his/her acting. And Parth has turned out to be one of them. The way he gives his 100% into his character, whether it be a small scene or big scene, individual scene or group scene, monologues or dialogues..... I have to say Parth belongs to that breed of actors to whom acting is not a profession;rather a passion who compete with himself everyday to bring the best out of him. In Friday's episode, when Anurag looks at Veena and wipes her tears, Parth's eyes excellently carried that guilt feeling of being the reason of her tears along with portraying Anu's desire to absorb her pain unto himself. Then the frustrations when Prerna doesn't pick up the phone, the earnestness he portrays while threatening Viraj, the way he gets furious when Viraj challenges and cuts his phone.... To top it all, the way he got choked and scared seeing the blood trail to the way he got his breath back as he realises that he was tricked ..... Parth is proving each day that this season Anurag will be remembered forever not because of the story but because of the way he has lived the character. And Parth do really deserve a thundering 👏for the same.
P. S. Viraj has joined that wagon of villains who got slapped by Pre and all those who got this chance has been either brought back in the show or retained in the show for some more time. Hoping that, Namik's stint doesn't end here and we get to watch more of this rocking trio. 😊
