Komo wanting to one-up Pre by becoming pregnant is her mindset. Her character itself is so cringeworthy, I probably did not expect less from her.

But, the way the makers executed this whole track is a wayyy more disgusting and cringeworthy. NOBODY considered the attempt to rape as a serious issue at all, least of all Prerna. Even Anu did not ask any questions later. There were no direct accusations put on Komo that she tried to have non consensual sex with a drugged man. She should have been put behind bars for this reason alone. These are serious issues, and the writers had a brilliant opportunity to showcase the meaning of consent. Sometimes makes me wonder how educated the makers of this show are. Just because it's a reboot of an old show doesn't mean you have to copy 20 years old mentalities as well.

If there was a girl in Anu's place, oh the scenes we would have got!! The girl coming to senses and trying to cover her body while crying, looking all shameful. The hero lending his jacket to her and landing 2 3 punches on the villain. But, here, not a single word to address such a serious offence.🤮

The whole sequence was pathetic. Very few scenes in this show have truly revulsed me to no end, this being one of them. I've stopped watching on TV ever since this non-consensual sex thing started up. Can't tolerate AnuPre's stupidity with dealing with this issue either. Going back to 🛌🛌 until these useless CVs go back to school and get educated.

Unfortunately, ITV doesn't take male consent very seriously. 😆 It's not a laughing matter but they do make a comedy out of it. I remember watching a show where over a span of three years, 3 men were non-consensually bedded..no sex happened. But they were made to think that. And the ridiculousness of it, no one took it seriously enough.

Bold - You have clearly explained in these words why they brushed it off as if nothing has happened. Not even Mohini was bothered to know why he was drugged. Because, if earlier our society had to suffer due to patriarchic beliefs influencing people's thoughts & beliefs, now we are moving towards an era where the society is being influenced by pseudofeminists. That is the reality.😔
