Taking from the above point, one just cannot expect a new twist follow because, in all probabilities, we will witness the same old kidnapping track when an event has to be dramatized, or the same generation leap if new actors have to be bought, with a story that barely holds up. Post Hina Khan's exit, Aamna Sharif was brought in in the most cliche way ever, and yet, it does not seem to have hit it off with the audiences.
While some shows are trying to bring in the change, there is very little that is actually being liked, and as much as the makers are to be blamed, we as viewers are at fault for having liked regressive content for such a long time, that bringing a show like Badho Bahu and seeing it work is a once in a lifetime wonder. Sleeper success on television is only until the TRPs for the next week come out!
