I am not saying it. They themselves nullified it, by taking off the MS and wiping off Sindoor. This was shown. 😆 That is not the wedding that's in place at present.

Doing it in simpleton terms.

Prerna is Anurag's first wife as per the wedding at the temple. Everyone was reminded that in Hindi culture only the first marriage is seen as legal and valid. I don't recall Anurag ever divorcing Prerna. Which means that Prerna's marriage to Bajaj was illegal and invalid, Anurags marriages to Komolika and Sonalika were also invalid as by Hindi custom.

Prerna suddenly left Anurag for Baljaj, although Baljaj knew she was pregnant with Anurag's child. And if you work forward in real time, the baby consummated in the hut after their wedding would be due early December.

Prerna is still his legal first wife as he wed her with a Priest as their witness, in the temple of the Godess Durga.

The time-leap was to accommodate the slow unfolding of the series. when you have Holi lasting 7 episodes they have to make up for it somewhere.

If you’re married in a mandir, you’re legally married? Is that how it works in India?

It's not even about a marriage that has happened in Mandir but if the marriage has actually happened or not.

The BS dhaga marriage was a marriage because apparently it was a divine time jo sadiyo ke baad aya tha.

While if anyone says that they were actually married back then and still now - I can even consider it but if anyone calls it legal - then I don't know what to say!

They didn't got married properly in mandir they just put Sindoor and dhaga thats not marriage in indian hindu religion second yes marriage in mandir is valid but it have to be properly done with evry mantra and Sindoor and magalshurta tied with mantra then its valid by religion but they have to show proof to law and society that they actually married because if anyone put blame that they are faking this marriage show they have to show the professional like photo thats why many couples who got married at mandir with proper full retual then they registered their marriage in court so it began lawfully legal.prerna and anurag didn't did any marriage it was game for them ,in bengal sindoor khela mein many women put sindoor on each other toh kya sari female ek dusare ke wife ho gayi.

And anupre believe in social and religious marriage its show because they are always read to get married socially or alway puting Sindoor thats means for them social religious marriage is more important.

And for me if two people really want to be with eachother they won't believe in Sindoor marriage law dhaga durga ma they will be with eachother , but in anupre chase it opposite whenever they meet they just go for marriage so u know what it's means .

I think that first wedding wasn't complete at all. And incomplete weddings are not legal as per the law. Hindu weddings are legal, incomplete weddings are not. This is based on what I have heard around, and that's why it was called some dhaaga Shaadi or whatever. And since it was incomplete, it was cancelled by the Pandit and shit. If it had been a complete wedding, dude, would Anurag have married Komo? See, however desperate and horrible his situation was, IF that wedding had been properly legal, he wouldn't have married Komo right? Idk, one can always refute such things with different arguments. But since that wedding was more symbolic than ritual-based, he himself believed he was in a position to be married with someone else? Yeah, his wedding with Komo was coz he was helpless or whatever.

Assuming, there was a priest and that was the legal wedding, why didn't he just take her home as his wife and as the Basu Bahu? Wouldn't that have solved a multitude of problems? 😆 If it was complete, what was he waiting for? And was she actually wearing a MS or something? Idk, that's why I am asking. And also, we aren't supposed to talk about the character you spoke of, ^ so I refrain. ;)

What are you saying, Najma?

None of them knew that they were even married to go and tell others.

Jab baccho ko pata hi nahi tha ke shadi ho rahe hai to shadi kaisi? 🤔

Ye to Prerna ji mandir me ro rahi thi tab pandit je dimag ki batti jali - beta, tum shadi shuda ho. Wo ladke ne jo tumhe dhaga pehnaya tha wo koi sadharan dhaga nahi tha. Sadiyo ke baad aisa pavitra muhurat ata hai jisme dhaga = varmala.

😆
