Agreed except for the last line for obvious reasons😊 I understand that maintaining peace in this forum is difficult if people continue to make topics after topics on Bajaj, a character that is no longer part of the show ...but we have seen how polls where he is included as one of the options were made every other day to rile up the fandoms . If maintaining peace in the forum is the reason for the new rules then I don’t see why such polls should be allowed and left open for discussion in the first place. I thought comparison polls and posts itself are against rules or am I wrong?

And who said Bajaj cannot be appreciated or elevated at the cost of degrading leads, especially the male lead? One just needs to be a little creative and the purpose will be served. For example:

DG I don't know how the poll threads were allowed seriously. Ideally as per the rule they shouldn't but I don't know really. I hope the mods clarify if at all they wish to... otherwise we all can't do much about that.

Why make a post when the rule is clearly made that it shouldn't be? Every place has its rules and it won't hurt to follow them. While I totally get your disappointment for feeling that you aren't allowed to put forward your point in a separate post - let's think about why it is the way it is now. The rule is made to simply keep the forum at peace. We all know what happens to most of the threads here. The very basic thing is that we have hard time in accepting the other perspectives. No matter who says what, even if you agree to disagree - it gets built up and after a point - tadaa we know how awful the conversation, language and points get.

Ignorance is bliss and nothing is worth disturbing your peace.

You should be rather happy that the post got locked. You would have felt bad to see what would have happened to it had it not been closed. 😆
