Chapter 7

He woke up his head was dizzy and eyelids were really heavy .he couldn't see at first everything was blur to him but blinking multiple times did the trick and now finally he could see maasi holding his hand caressing his hair sleepily ,tanvi on the near guest bed sleeping with a magazine and SHE and their daughter were missing .he painfully pulled his body upwards to check the time it was 12:30 midnight !.he sighed she must be with cookie probably in home he sighed .

Flashes of the bathroom scene came into his head .their proximity ,his desire .he now thanked God to black him out or he could have lost control and do something completely foolish like kissing her or something and she would then get scared of him.thats the last thing he want!.

He still felt a little pain in his abdomen.what is wrong with him?he wondered.he then felt someone clicked the bathroom door open and the dark room flashed with bright light and for that he closed his eyes again .

She came out seeing his body dislocated from its place "how the hell did he moved????huh must be maasi ".she closed the bathroom door and went near him.she wrapped her arms around him so she can position him carefully.

"Prerna I am awake"he suddenly whispered huskily

Her eyes widened and she panicked and moved back .she saw his beautiful popped out eyes open staring at her .she felt soo relax now .he was awake !she couldn't believe it !she went near him pinching him

"Ughh!"he growled "Mrs bajaj you pinch yourself for clarity not THE OTHER PERSON"he said grumpy annoyed with the sharp pinch

She smiled brightly and hugged him.as she hugged him the doctor's words came to her mind and suddenly she felt anger boiled in her .she pulled back instantly making an eye contact with him.glaring at him

He had never seen her this angry .not even on their marriage.He was confused now what happened to her suddenly and where is my daughter?

"Where is my daughter?"

"OUR daughter is at my maa's house why do you have a problem with that?"she said harshly

"No why would I be upset if our daughter is at OUR maa's house ...I just...I ....why are you being so rude to me?"

"Because you did this to yourself.you are careless,stupid,crazy"

"Mrs bajaj stop! If you can't be nice to me ,respect me at least I am elder than you with a decent margin"

She huffed "you are just 9 years older than me stop pretending that you are 60 !"

He gritted his teeth "nine years is a decent margin respect me "He then stopped ,took some deep breaths "I ...I am sorry Mrs bajaj ,where are my manners .I am just a little stressed out ..can you please send me a liquor...some whisky maybe"

He take his words back,NOW she has never been this angry before

"Wow!funny to know a PERSON near to liver failure still craves for a drink"

Rishabh's eyes widen.he couldn't believe .yes why wouldn't it he was always a heavy drinker .she saw him all panicked and her anger melted there and then .she pulled him in a hug .his head on her chest."don't worry !we will fight it together"
