Different shades of Anurag's love

Seems like the general audience takes this season as the story of Anurag and the kasauties he face in trying to be with his Pre. Last season it was Prena's kasauties so it wasn't difficult to sideline Anurag as the story was from her point of view and the main focus.

The above lines are from a post SheAish made in one of my threads. I know, trying to find logic or symbolism in an EK show. But the above lines is something which echoed my thoughts too and I had even shared with one of our members that how this time KZK is being shown as Anu's narrative. What made me think so is that inspite of all the butcherings they have tried with Anu's character, two things that has always been consistent in all the tracks are Anu was always given monologues or scenes with Anupam or Moloy with whom he could share his pain. Secondly, Anu's relation with all the characters in the show has been widely explored. Even recently, a scene was created where Anu rescues Tanvi, which was not that important for the current track that was being rushed; but according to me was included to reaffirm how Anu never mixes up or judges an individual w.r.to that person's relation to someone he likes or dislikes. He never fails to respect the identity of that particular individual. Even with Prerna, he has never failed to add Sharma in between, whenever he has addressed her with full name.

Now coming back to the main topic, I accidentally realised yesterday on how each track till now was mainly focussed in portraying different shades of Anu's love. Whether it is a coincident or EK & CVs have thought it in that way, I am not sure. If the NB track was a buildup for AnuPre realising that they are destined to be more than friends, the tracks that followed was to portray the variations in love, mainly Anu's. I tried to find out the love variations the CVs were trying to portray w.r.to Pre, but I got confused due to many things. So, for now, I will go with Anu's variations in love.

When they first confessed their love in the temple, Pre says that she is feeling afraid that they will not be together while Anu replies to her that he will fight with every problem or situation & reminds her of how they had been blessed from the beginning by MataRani assuring her that they will be together forever. What followed next is the Komo track where we saw Anu inorder to protect Pre & her loved ones including the Basus whom Pre loves immensely agrees to be a dhaal against the Komo storm while Pre was shown to rise above her fear (though with bitterness towards Anu in her heart) deciding to fight for her rights, which after learning the truth later made her more aggressive to fight for her love. And throughout the whole track through words & actions Anu's concern for Pre's security was clearly portrayed. So, in short CVs succeded in playing out the Komo track in a way that AnuPre worked as a team, while the track's underlying theme was Anu's protectiveness.

Now comes the Bajaj track. Just before this track was introduced, we have a scene where Pre turns on the radio and the lines 'Kisi ki pyar leke hum naya jahaan basaaoge' plays out. Hearing it a possessive Anu outrightly denies to Pre that he will never let it happen in their life. What followed & happened till now, we have seen. Yes.....in all the crazy things he did & words he uttered, we got to see Anu's different shades of possesiveness while Pre took up the role of Komo track Anu & did all crazy things to protect Anu. So, in this track too they were working as a team, though it was not explicit enough for the audience to feel the same. This is because of the fault of the CVs, who in their quest to satisfy both Anu & Bajaj fandoms, missed to focus on conveying Pre's emotions. Only towards the end of the track they got their senses back & started concentrating on it. If they had done it from the beginning of the track, this track too would have been interesting as Komo track.

Now that we are waiting for the next track, I am not sure whether my guess is right. Till last Thursday, whenever Anu expressed his feelings for Pre he used various forms of Chahat for the same. But in the Friday scene, when he talks to Bajaj in the hospital about his feeling for Pre, he said ' Prerna meri KHWAHISH hein; vo poora kiye bagair mein kahin nahin jaaunga.' I don't know why writers have suddenly changed chaahat to khwahish. I am not that good in understanding the exact meaning of such deep Hindi/Urdu words. But clubbing this change in expression with the latest BTS plus keeping in mind how the narrative till now was Anu-biased, mind says it is Anu who will meet an accident & probably have a memory loss while my biased & selfish heart wants it to happen with Pre so that atleast in this track my Pre will enjoy some peaceful & happy moments. How about you all? Whoever meets the accident, one thing is for sure, especially now that the channel too has interfered & Moloy who was the first to know about AnuPre's dhaga marriage is back in action. That, in this track too AnuPre will be one team. So AnuPreians, let us be hopeful for the time being & be here to cheer for our AnuPre. 😊

as in initial epi nivi said anu ko pyar hoga wo kuvh bhi kar jayega kisi se bhi lad jayega. this season anu has that fighting sprit to fight against fate too .prerna pyar toh karti hai but darti bhi bht hai ki anupre ek dusre ke liye nahi bane hai but anu believe in this wo ek dusre ke liye hi bane hai.

well what i know chahat& khawais has same meaning .its same as pyar & ishq .

khawasish aur ishq word me wazan jayda hai

I heard the same dialogue in anothrr ektas show..dil hi toh hai.. there the heroine says it to her friend...she also talked about 7 stages of love .....but her words turned out to be true for the hero ..their love story was also painful , with separations ..but therr was a lot of pinning for each other, desperation , angst, even hatred , myraid of emotions they go through ..they give up on each other for each other , sacrifice for some reason but not anupre style..here ekta spoiled everything by getting them married to random people..forced or majboori, deal or no deal, it's not possible to give up so easily when in love , whixh they claim to be eternal. Fighting for it after giving up on it , the essence is lost..either let them stay married for the story or not get them married to other people at all...

yes nivi said that to moh .she is the frist person that anu is falling in love with pre .

& anu did yhe same thing exactly after one year .wo sub kuch daanv per laga diya pre ke liye .& dont say that wo usse pana chahta tha deep down he knows pre sacrificed for something & she only loves him & he f8ght for that .

charu i agree excution r really bad dialouge r very cheap in both track but what i feel from.kzk ekta want to show that even marriage kind of scared bond in not above love . so they showed anukom& prejaj marriage & nullified these two marrriage.

Bold - Moni...even during the confession Anu had said the same. That he will fight with anyone or any problem that will come between them. I believe that if the TRPs hadn't dropped when AnuLika marriage was on the way, CVs would have made that track with Anu executing his plan to get rid of Komo. Who knows, maybe that time too channel would have interfered and they came up with Sassy Pre promo. However, making up for the previous track, CVs went to the level of getting Anu do crazy things in the name of showing him fight for Pre in this Bajaj track. That is why I am now eagerly waiting to see what is in store for us in the next track.

Coming to the difference in chahat or khwaish, i feel that khwaish is a more intense form of chahat. Because, while googling to know more about it, I came across this dialogue by Aishwarya in ADHM - Main kisi ki zaroorat nahi, khwaish banna chahti hoon. In the same movie, there a dialogue about junoon too, which is the word Mohini had used in this Bajaj track while describing Anu's craziness. Also, EK had produced a show named Khwaish, which if you go & read the plot, you might get a hint of what is awaiting AnuPre fans. 😊

I'm sure our uncreatives don't think so deep but yes I agree with you and I repeatedly say that this season belongs to Anurag Basu. This is how he fights for his love and at the same time maintain his basic traits. They tried to make him negative but all thanks to the trp audience they had to immediately take a u turn and now that we've seen the show taking a different route altogether... let's hope we get what we want... AnuPre vs Kasauti and not Anurag vs Prerna.

I don't think it's so difficult to write isn't it... writers if you're reading this please think about it.

Bold - Because i like to learn about a person & their thought processes , whether it be a fictional character or real person, while at the same time acknowledging what their core traits are. Only then, we will learn to accept why a person behaves in a particular way in a particular situation, especially when that person behaves in a way that doesn't match with his/her core traits.😊

S1 prerna choose bajaj n her life along with him was easy. Anurag sacrificed his life for the one mistake he did by not accepting sneha.

This time let fate play its games but anupre should not let go of each other.

If this can be shown then it's really worth watching

I am not hopeful at all because trust me...writer from this show live in nursery class. Show had soo many potential to be best love saga but they destroyed it to core by butchering all lead.

Plus story is comedy now that dialogue they get is soo comical and contradicting. But it is true..this time around its AB then PS. But I still feel rushed up pregnancy is the main reason.. that they messed up every thing.

Lady still has time to come out of mess she created by this week otherwise its her own fault.

Grace, I think quite of few of us has been saying that this time its Anurags story because honestly as you say consciously or unconsciously he is the central character as makers have presented the story....In Anukom track it did give Pre the main platform, but all this happened in Anurag's turf and his POV was given focus too and again here it showed Anu's love through out the track, while Pre was in a love/hate mode....

Again, in Prejaj track large majority of it occurred in Anu's turf, and his angst was fully focused while Pre was mute and barely anything was shown from her side towards Anu except at the last few weeks. In last four months Pre had shown more signs of moving on with her new marriage since they even showed Bajaj apologizing for blackmailing her and she quite easily brushed it aside like nothing major has happened without even thinking about the grief that Anu went through because of Bajaj's actions....This is why many Anupre fans have been lamenting about losing connect with Anupre the couple and connecting more with Anu only.

Again now in the last weeks episodes Pre is more mute while Anu is talking on behalf of both of them.

They honestly need to make it more balanced with regards to their love after the disaster they served in the last 4 months so people connect to the couple Anupre more than just connecting with individual characters.
