The entire episode, Anurag kept saying, "you did it intentionally." And Bajaj was like, "I didn't." What makes Anurag's claim more believable than Bajaj's? Even the police inspector was like, "I believe he's innocent." For crying out loud. What else does one need? Was Anurag speaking in a code that only our dear Prerna can decode? And then, in the precap , she's like.. What is wrong is wrong. Hypocrisy thy name is Prerna. And the entire idea that RB was jealous when he told her, explicitly, and numerous times that he's not interested in her. Where is the motive?

She is holding a grudge against Bajaj. She sees the evidence of the kind of man he is but she discards all of that the moment someone's bitching about him to her. This blind mistrust cannot be a product of age.

And if she wants him to suffer, she can find another way. I personally don't appreciate someone being sent to jail for a crime he didn't do, to atone for something that is completely unrelated. It's a mockery of the ideal on which the entire justice system stands. That no innocent shall be punished, no matter how many guilty go unpunished.
