You’re right. The CVs are not thinking that far ahead - they have the double edged sword of two fandoms hanging over their heads! Thus the crazily veering track with P kabhi idhar kabhi udhar. And if you note, they r keeping one of the MLs away from P in alternate weeks so the respective FD can heave sighs of relief and appreciation only to yank the rug out next week by pairing P with the other ML.

The CVs are definitely not thinking that far ahead or rather, not thinking much at all.
