Chapter 5(rishab's Past)

Prerna was holding his hand while he slept peacefully on the hospital bed after his medication .the doctor gave him some medicines that made him sleepy and he dozed off!

Her other hand was busy combing his hair with her hand to create a soothing effect and to ensure herself that he is fine

After some time the door burst open and an old woman came with tension written all over her face "where? Where is my Rishu?what happened to my baby ??" She started asking questions from prerna instantly

Prerna hurriedly went to her side and asked her humbly to come outside with her as she didn't wanted rishabh to be disturbed

"Iam sorry who are you ?and how do you know Mr bajaj ?"she asked politely

"I used to be his caretaker during his childhood .I was in his emergency dials so the doctor called me ..how is my Rishu and who are you ?"she questioned back

"Oh ! ...iam his wife prerna rishabh bajaj ..and please don't worry he is fine now "prerna answered

With the news given the old woman in her late fifties had a wide smile on her face .her eyes sparkled and she instantly placed her hand on her head "bless you my child"

They sat there and talked for a little while mostly bua as rishabh calls her asked her questions about her and them ..and kukki

The basu's and bajaj's were rival companies but it wasn't personal ...never

Something happened and basu publications suffered a huge loss they were in the position to loose everything

Rishab's father was really a big businessman running the business with his wife ...rishabh's mother nandini bajaj ..both were sharp minded business man but his mother had a soft heart

As she saw that the basu's were in the verge of being home less with small kids in the house she decided to help them ..she did helped them to win some cases and gave them loans

One horrible day changed everyone's life when in the basu channel came a disgusting rumor that Mrs bajaj ..the wife of an ultimate business man was having an affair with some cheap photos

I couldn't believe the woman who tried to help them behind her husband's back was defamed by them ..they took advantage of her and showed her sympathy as something cheap in those pictures just so there channel can rise again

She tried to make her husband understand that it was all a lie ...but he didn't believed her and left her

He even tried to take rishabh but the little boy refused to leave his mother all alone crying

From there her life turned upside down people who used to respect her started mocking her ..no one would gave her a job as they didn't wanted a women like that working for the company in their words

She hired a lawyer in order to sue the basu's for defamation and was all focused on fighting that case

Little rishabh didn't knew what's going on in his life ..one day papa left and now mama cries a lot he used to ask me but I would never answer

People didn't even left the poor child and started calling him names making fun of his mother

Nandini couldn't see that and made her mind that her son won't be weak and soft as her he would be hardhearted who will not take any shit from anyone ...like her and never be trapped

She started telling him to talk only when required don't tell people more about yourself ..he wanted to talk to his friend's but she restricted him to be an open book so that no one would know his weakness

He wasn't liking this idea ..no one would then sit with him or talk to him ..his friends started to get away and he was sad ...and lonely

She would tell him to have table manners like a mature person would do and would scold him if he spilled food a little or talk while eating he was just a kid ...he hated being mature!

She would ...(sob) ..she would hit him if he didn't scored good or to her expectations and I saw him (sob) trying to study

But I couldn't blame her fully she just wanted him to be perfect so no one could ever brake him just like she was ..she only had her son and wanted him and loved him really much

She used to sleep hungry lying that she had ate when there wasn't enough food ..worked day and night to get him books to study and be a better man ..fought for him ..did millions and millions of thing's for him but didn't noticed that she was mentally torturing him

He couldn't play ,didn't had toys ,nor friends couldn't be clumsy ,couldn't talk about his feelings ,couldn't be a kid ..and was scared from the slaps and tension to disappoint and be a burden on his mother

My heart cried for him when he fractured his leg and was in the hospital ..like anyother kid he wanted to hug his mother and cry his heart out due to the pain but couldn't as his mother was next to him holding his hand to console him

She told her before that not to cry that is why his all face was red but he didn't cried ..his eyes were a little moist but he was trying really hard to hold them back

I talked to his mother that day and she told me firmly that she is making him stronger

There was another horrible day when I came to his house only to see him crying after such a long time shaking his mother "she is not waking up bua !!..she is not waking up !"

She was dead due to weakness and overstress and with high fever having from a week that day rishabh ..even having a little bit wishes and hopes died too and he changed into what he is today

Rishaab past is so heartbreaking the Basu cause his family to break so sad hope he gets better soon and Perna helps him take revenge .

Heartbreaking. His past😭. Basus did this to the lady who saved them. How can they do this. So his father is still alive some where. Her mother did wrong with him even though her intentions are correct. And he lost her because of Basus. Now that Prerna knows what he faced because of Basus, what would be her reaction. And what would be his reaction knowing that she knows his past now.
