Other people (characters including her ex) dont listen fully to what she says and cut her in middle before she could complete her rants/complaints/opinions/anger. So her brain is still fully occupied with those pending rants that her brain denies to listen what others wanted to say let alone register them.

And contrast to all those people, RB's listening skills and his immense patience, he lets her complete what she wanted to say, remove all her frustration , complete her rants. Her brain is now completely blank with no complaints and anger. Then he takes the chance and tries to explain her in a very simple she can understand and its gets registered.

Still in case not ready to listen due to her stubborn nature, his last weapon is hit her ego and then when she again goes blank he puts sense into her chintu sa head. This is very rare as only when things goes completely out of his hand then he tries this.
