Who was that Prerna who refused to wear deep neck sleeveless blouse during NB track? Do we have a duplicate Prerna Now? That Prerna was our own Prerna. Nivi is shown like this from beginning so we're used to her but not Prerna. Obviously it's her choice but for us she wasn't as she is being shown now. I hope someday they show that this Prerna is someone else and our Prerna is somewhere else. It all depends on trp actually.

Well that wasn't my point and I am no one to judge Prerna based on what she wears, and I will not do that.

I have loved her since day one and I still love her a lot.

Dressing is a personal choice. I dont think one shld comment on that. What prerna wears or not wears hardly matters to me.

And ppl tastes change . May be she wants to try something hatke

I don't know what can be deemed as too much exposure. In many other shows I've seen the female leads showing equal or even more exposure. Especially in many Gul shows and also in Madhubala , Silsila , even YRKKH and Nazar.

So it has nothing got to do being a vamp or fl. Such a dress code doesn't exist any more where female leads cover more than vamps.

I understand that the main concern is whether this kind of exposure and dressing style goes with her character or not. Case in point being , Prerna herself voicing her objection against wearing blackless blouse in one of the earliest episodes .

So what ?? That in no way means she can not wear such dresses now or that it goes against her character. People change . Their comfort with their body and amount of exposure they're cool with change. Their dressing style change. Erica herself is the biggest example of this. During KRPKAB times , she wouldn't even allow an inch of her midriff or back to be exposed in any attire , for reasons best known to her . Most of the time even offscreen she'd wear clothes that cover her completely and show nothing but her hands. After the show ended , her dressing style started changing and now she's completely comfortable with skin exposure on and offscreen. She's posting personal swim suit pics and what not , some thing that was unthinkable at that time.

So yeah , people change their dressing style all the time . As common as sunrise . Not a big deal. As for the trp aunties, oh they can take it all and more .

What I'm concerned is that looking at her exposed midriff reminds me constantly of her 5 month pregnant status , and I immediately feel dizzy with the level of ridiculousness! Such a concave stomach of a 5 month pregnant lady is a medical marvel .

On a serious note, as i replied in one of my posts, i think by changing the dressing style and not giving least importance to Pre's characterisation, the writers might be trying to show that Pre's all soft emotions have died and is just living a mechanical life as her soul is dead without Anurag. Hence, Pre doesn't bother about anything related to her and is now bothered about Sneha only, as she has found some sahara in her. Pre have been absorbing lots of hurts, insults and fears since long and has never been shown sharing it with anyone or with herself through her monologues. And by doing so, they might be building it up to a point where Pre reaches a breakdown point. Mera hope hai. Hope hi sahi. Muje aise rehne do. Kyunki that is the only way i am able to find a connect with Pre now.😔
