That movie has indeed done more harm than good. Seems ekta maata also got inspired. Socha kasauti thappad ki banaa do.🤣If I am correct there was no thappad in S1. But yahaan passion chahiye. Thappad se passion aata hai bhai🤪.

In that movie kabir Singh, he almost forced himself on a girl till lights came and he was back in his senses. And in the end they redeemed him. Shahid did fantastic job and he deserves and award for the acting . But they freaking glorified him.

Prerna imposed blame on bajaj that he wants her physically but still he didn't slap her. And people say he is villain

Haven't read all the replies thoroughly but it's funny how all the feminists r stuck on one slap n putting their extraordinary talent of sarcasm on the display where nowhere in the post I have written that I have loved or I support the slap. I love the gestures post his harsh actions. Generally in the daily soaps, the hero or heroin leave with a swag after slapping without any regret or give some more bhashan. But here be it twisting her arm or slapping her, he realises his mistake the very next moment, he regrets it, says her sorry. End of the day, this matters to me. Be it any character in the show, intentions matter to me the most than any actions. I had said the same thing for nivi as well. She said all the wrong words to pre, but later she had told Anupam that prerna loves Anurag, then why she did this. I m in love with this belief they all have deep down their hearts that pre must have had some reason to take this decision. Actions r most of the time reactions only. So I don't judge any character by a slap. It's better to slap someone on their face rather than playing games behind their backs.

For me, if Anurag merely thought of slapping her and did it, though it lasted for how many so ever seconds, is outright cruel. Doesn't matter what he felt after it. If he felt the right, urge and had the audacity to do this, it's all over for me from his side.

Season 1 indeed dealt with this particular track in a much much better way from the deal proposal to aftermath of marriage.

Here, well it's all about melodrama that can only come from characters being loud & dumb. It's the same from the beginning.

People are giving justification of his act by saying Prerna also slapped him but didn't you know she slapped him when he was saying bad things about her character and here anurag slapped her bcoz of frustration
