I think it's Because at that time it was shown that Prerna is real wife of Anurag. The CVS gave money to Pandit to lie to audience

I think that's why audience didn't mind when Anurag used to sometimes come near or hold Pre during Komo track. That's why nobody questioned his loyalty. At that time nobody (audience) accepted Komolika as his wife.

Here the reason , Pre cupping Anu's face and hugging feels odd is because she is Bajaj's wife. I know it's a deal marriage, but nevertheless it's a legal marriage which holds valid in court. Nobody here expects her to love Bajaj. If she hates him, then rightly so. He took advantage of the situation and married her . If she chooses to live her entire life with Anurag's memories even then ppl will support her.

. People are questioning Pre's loyalty because she is Married to B and being lovey dovey. OK, I know it's an impulsive action at that time. It's not like she planned to cup Anurag's face or hug him. She saw him in that state and couldn't control her tears. I am ready to cut her some slack but she needs to be careful.Problem here is they are glorifying something wrong. Slapping each other or crying on your ex's chest after marrying someone else doesn't reflect well. Audience don't like Glorification of EMA. Marriage is sacred. Be with Anurag if you want but please divorce or leave Bajaj before touching Anurag. I hope writers are careful while writing Pre's scenes because she is the one who gets bashed/criticized from both the fandoms.

Pre’s impulsive reaction of touching Anu maybe offensive to Indian audience given that she is, on the record, RB’s wife now.

RB has no plans for a normal marriage with Pre.

Pre was once officially declared by two priests as the ONLY one to rightfully claim to be Anu’s first wife. By then she was pregnant. Then CVs changed their minds.

Now CVs decided their marriage invalid but she’s already pregnant with his child.

They get her married to someone who rode into town and decided to corner her into dumping her fiancé on the day of the wedding and marrying him.

An honest question here. Will Indian audiences not be offended by this scenario?

There are some boundaries and limitations that needs to be set.. Anurag might rule her heart and their relationship has ended and she tied the knot with someone else.. Be loyal to both and keep both fandom happy.. Simple! That includes in dream sequences as well..

Exactly. The writers need to focus on Pre now. Otherwise the character will become unredeemable.

There are two options now-

Either show her telling Anurag the truth about sacrifice and deal narrative. Then these two can plan and tackle Bajaj. And make him divorce her and she can go back to Anu.

The other option is, what she is doing now. Accept your fate, now that you are married,be in that. Here, she can be loyal to Anurag's memories and also be loyal to her husband. Loyal to husband as in, not go touching or hugging your ex.

Touching another man (be it ur ex) while you are married to someone else is unacceptable in any culture not just Indian audiences..

This is the basic ethics and morals of any human being..

Absolutely, This is the only reason why nobody expects Pre to like or fall for her husband because though she willingly consented to the marraige , we all know RB took advantage of the situation where Anurag was about to get life sentence.

Everybody will be happy if she opens her mouth and tells Anurag the truth . Then these two can tackle Bajaj

But being married to one, and crying on your ex's chest is so not done.

So in that case Pre hugging shouldn’t be offensive to them?

But then new hubby ka haal Kya hai? Esp when she says “keep your hands off me”. RB says”who wants to, I can get them dime a dozen”. That ought to confuse viewers about their marriage and the crass dialogue.
